Superior Reversible Down Alternative Polyfill Blanket with Striped Microfiber Shell - Full/Queen, Black

This blanket is great. I wanted something to use year round that was light enough and easy enough to keep on the bed under the comforter so I can pull the comforter on and off easily. This fit the bill. It's warm, but not hot (it's very comfy) -- Silky/smooth feel to it. It has just enough weight to feel good. It is also very attractive if used alone on the bed (I don't care for the blanket binding on others). My only complaint and reason to take away one star is the width of the king-sized blanket. It just barely hangs over the sides of my king-sized bed (a few more inches would have been great). Other than that, I am very pleased with it. Update - I have increased the star rating to 5 after reading other reviews about turning the king blanket 90 degrees - it fits a king bed perfectly this way (if it doesn't bother you that the stripes are across instead of lengthwise). I would prefer the lines match my sheets, but it's no big deal in the dark and I cover it with a bedspread when I make the bed. I have washed this blanket several times (front load washer) and dried it on gentle cycle and it still looks new after several months of use. I would definitely buy this again.

Like Goldilocks, I have tried several blankets to find the perfect match between my flannel sheets and my heated mattress pad. This is finally it! Very light weight and just enough loft to allow the heat radiated by the mattress pad to keep me comfortable without sweating. With flannel sheets and a heated pad I only need a thin blanket. But quilt types are still too cold and heavy. Woven cotton Thermal blankets are too thin and lose too much heat for their weight. Flannel and fleece blankets don't breath and my really nice medium weight down comforter is too hot. This thin comforter is the best of features for me. The sage color is just as pictured. The stripes go up and down from top to bottom. Other reviewers just put it on sideways! The sateen does have a tendency to snag on even rough hands, but otherwise is silky and attractive. I have not washed it. Kind of scared to from other reviews. Last, the price cannot be beat. I am returning a $200 quilt today in favor of this $30 bargain.

I was very cognizant of other people's reviews on this blanket and I will agree/disagree with a couple of things. 1. It is indeed not flowing on the sides (as shown in the picture), at least for the king size I got. But in actuality, this was better for *me* because we only have our box spring for our recently purchased king size sleep number bed (the box spring thing that comes with those type beds, other sleep number customers would know what I mean).. 2. A poster mentioned that when they washed it, fluffy things were coming out of the blanket..I have washed mine once and only minimal fluff was noticeable...Not bad.. 3. Someone else mentioned that the material of the blanket itself felt "cheap", I wholeheartedly disagree..It is actually quite soft and silky feeling..It is very much comparable to "sateen"..This is how both my husband and I felt was the best way to describe it. As far as my overall rating, this blanket is outstanding..I love the feel of the material, the warmth/thickness is perfect for both my husband (who gets hot/sweats over night), and for me (who gets cold and does not sweat one bit over night)..It pleased both our temperatures surprisingly..I got the grey color and it is beautiful, goes perfect with our Calvin Klein sheets..It looks exactly like inthe picture..Then there is the price *thumbs up* ...We just wanted something to have for now until we find the perfect bed-in-a-bag type deal for our new king size bed, and this was a perfect buy for that..So, all in all, I HIGHLY recommend this blanket :)

This is a nice blanket, but I can't give it 5 stars for a couple reasons: 1.) It runs small. I ordered the king size and it does cover the bed like in the picture. Luckily, we use it as a foot of the bed blanket. If you want it to look the way it does in the picture, size up. If you have a king forget about it. 2.) It does snag easy, so if you have a cat that kneads keep it away from this blanket. My cat made a few small pulls on it. I did give the blanket 4 stars, because it is incredibly soft. It is a nice and light blanket... great for all seasons, especially in the PNW. Also, the price was good. If you know all of these things ahead of time and still want this, then I would recommend it. My husband and I both enjoy it as an extra layer.

Holy sheister this blanket had LOTS of fluff coming out after washing. I followed the directions exactly - cold water, gentle cycle, dry low. I used the blanket right away to test it because it seems SO comfy, lightweight, soft and cozy, which... it IS. However unbeknownst to me there were tiny thin strands of fluff absolutely everywhere. Where is the quality control department??????? I guess you get what you pay for , but still. This is ridiculous. But I still love this blanket so it's quite disappointing to have this issue with it. I'm hoping a thorough pass with a fluff roller will remove most of it before I officially make my bed with it. I'm guessing an exchange won't do anything since many reviews show the same issue. It looks like the very edges all around need to be sewn better. Annoying! UPDATE: I thoroughly cleaned it with a lint roller and there’s still thin strands of polyester fluff or whatever it is coming out absolutely everywhere. I had originally thought it was the edges but it looks like it’s just pouring out of the cloth. I bought two and am returning both.

Nos gustaron mucho! Es un cobertor ligero pero a la vez cubre muy bien del frío. La textura de la tela es muy suave, muy agradable. Compramos el tamaño individual/twin y quedaron muy bien de tamaño para las camitas.

I had purchased another version some years ago and was looking for the same or similar to the first. This is it! Lightweight, comfortable. Warm but not hot. Easy wash and dry. Very pleased, thanks so much!

Warm and fits well. Disappointed that the filling has started to come through the top cover and created 'bobbles' that make it look tatty.

i bought a $250 down duvet several years ago and can't use it because it's just too hot. so i bought one of these shortly after and loved it. i've just bought another in "plum". beautiful, and deceptively warm despite the light weight. i'll use it all winter, along with a flannel sheet.
