Does D' Mannose work better than Cystex?

Cystex is anti-bacterial, and anti-inflammatory. It is not the drug that turns the urine orange. D-Mannose is a sugar. It is only effective for bladder infections caused by E-Coli. It does not work on any other strain of bacteria. Cytex is a great product to combine with it, but unless the infection is caught early, Cytex will not get rid of it. Whereas, D-Mannose will. E-Coli sticks to this sugar, and slides right off your bladder walls. Do not take it with more than 3 oz of water at a time, and wait 1 hour before starting to guzzle lots of fluid. You will dilute it too much before it has a chance to do it's job.

CAN IT EFFECT WARFARIN LEVELS?

Sandy, I have been on Warfarin since 2010 and discovered the benefits of D-mannose for UTIs about a year later. (I had been getting a UTI at least once a year prior to using D-mannose...even while trying other preventive aides.) My monthly Pro-time tests are consistently good and at the proper levels as overseen by my doctor. So for me, D-mannose has kept any UTIs away & NOT affected my blood work or Warfarin dosage. Please note that I do not take the D-mannose daily (unless I feel a UTI is trying to take hold) but I do try to take it several times a week. So for me the large bottle lasts far longer than 40 days.
