Good quality USB C adapters - essential for all computer users!
These USB Type C to Type A (socket) adapters, operate at v3.1 speeds, and allow USB Type A plugs to be easily connected to Type C sockets - I have tried them with older USB memory card readers, USB A flash drives, Garmin GPS devices, an Olympus PCM recorder (with built-in Type A plug) and the adapters worked flawlessly! Would highly recommend!

Work well for new MacBooks where you need to plug in something older. Doesn't block adjacent ports like some adapters do.

Look Good Work Good
It was a Prime delivery and I got it the day after ordering. I bought a MacBook Air that was a similar colour. It had two USB 3 ports and I wanted to use a 2TBit mini hard drive as a Time Machine backup disc. It was plug and play and I first transferred a huge file from the disc to the laptop which was a very good transfer rate. Having a USB 3 port on a 2017 iMac as well I did the same using another mini disc. Again file transfer time was excellent and accurate. The setup and backup on both machines was excellent using the two cords. Excellent value for money, appear to be robust and look good. Well done the manufacturer.

Sturdy and reliable
I decided to buy some of these as an alternative to the SYNTECH brand favoured by Amazon. The build quality appears to be superior and they have proved to be more reliable in that there are no dropouts if you accidentally so much as touch the wire. Also the manufacturing tolerances must be better because the plugs seem to fit the USB C sockets more securely (without there having to be a struggle to push them in and get them out). Well worth the extra pound or two in price.
