Reliability and affordability at normal brake conditions.
I have used this product for one year. They last 4 months, or 1 k miles, specifically the rear pads. The front last 6 months, or 1.5 k miles. Pros: price, uniform wear out on disk surface, reliable at normal brake conditions . Cons: the friction surface could suffer pitting at extreme conditions (high temperature, mud, and humidity).

These brakes came with my Specialized CrossTrail. After 100 ...
These brakes came with my Specialized CrossTrail. After 100 miles, I road the GAP Trail in PA, 150 miles of crushed limestone trail. It rained heavy for two of the 4 days. The front brakes were pitted and destroyed. I just replaced with E10.11
