Typhoo Black Tea - 1100 Teabags

Excellent bargain. Oooo Typhoo! Can no longer drink PG Tips since they did something to change the brew. I forgot how good typhoo was.

I love Typhoo tea! Be warned, it is a strong breakfast tea. Do not steep it more than six minutes or it will be nasty better. I bought this bag because it was a great deal. I never thought about how many teabags I was getting. I could share. But I won’t.

Our family loves typhoo tea, it is hard to over steep . Shipped perfectly but will need to store in separate zip log bags. The Typhoo bag does not have a resealable zip closure.

The round sachets for quality English tea were better than the current standard thin square bags. Appears a bit less tea leaves in each bag.

Yes, I agree, these are the old fashioned bags that are square, and do not contain as much tea as the more modern round bags. However, it is an excellent value, and is the same excellent quality of tea! If one makes lots of single cups, they are fine (one use per bag). I will also agree that the container it comes in is just a giant plastic carrier bag, and one can spend quite a while un-crumpling the tea bag pairs and putting them into some other longer term storage (a sandwich bag will hold 100 bags, but several large cookie tins may be needed to store the sandwich bags). The label says the product contains "Approximately 1100 bags"; I counted 1101, plus one broken bag. I note also that there is a substantial amount of loose tea dust, so be sure to make allowances for that when preparing to store them. No real complaints... great value at about 2/3 the price of numerous boxes?

The best tea. Je suis une très grande consommatrice de thé. Tous les matins, je mets trois sachets dans ma très grande théière, et je me régale avec mon thé au lait. Mon mari me l’a offert pour mon anniversaire en décembre, parce qu’il sait que j’adore ça. Nous sommes au mois de juillet et j’en ai encore la moitié.
