This stuff is the literal best
I have now bought my weight in these rolls and my only qualm is I wish they’d come in a longer roll. It’s expensive, but worth it. My best recommendation is to only peel a little at a time as you place it, because this stuff is hella sticky and will not let go of the fabric once it’s on. I used it to repair a comforter and it extended its life at least another year+. Technically it’s still working, although the edges were starting to curl a little and get dirty. But that was a daily use sort of thing. I’ve been using the stuff to repair the inside of a fur coat I rescued, too, and it’s brilliant. Although I recommend taping down the first with painters tape to keep it out of the way. Again, it adheres to everything. It’s super strong and flexible. I honestly think it’s as indestructible as the Nokia brick phone 😂 Definitely buy.

This tape really sticks!
Patched my nylon tent where a chipmunk chewed through it. The little rascal hung around our camp in the evening and then tried to get into the tent at night. Chewed a hole in the mesh and a bigger one in the base of the tent between the floor and the door. The tape adhere's well and certainly looks like it will stay. Their mesh patches of the same brand didn't even stay on at all. I even tried to put them on each side of the mesh facing each other and hoping that the adhesive would bond through the mesh. No luck. Gravity alone made them fall off when I picked the tent up. However, I sewed the circular patch to the mesh (loosely stitched) and then cut an anullus from the repair kit tape and fitted it over the stitches. I was using a bar stool for a work surface. The adhesive went right through the mesh on the tent and stuck to the stool seat. It really looks like it will hold now. If there are problems I may have to come back and downgrade. However, this looks like the real deal. Now I just need to get some chipmunk traps. Or maybe just put some of this tape out face up. That should slow him down. I've attached a picture of him that is slated for a "Wanted" poster.

Super tape!
I was very skeptical when I received this tape. It was not package in store package but looked like someone cut a portion of the tape off and sent me a skimpy piece. It came with a type written description and instructions. What in the world? I bought it for our old tent trailer to repair the plastic window and the tent canvas had a rip. Well to my happy surprise it worked like super glue. This stuff is amazing!! It's like tape cement. After fixing the tent trailer I used it to repair my husbands truck seat. (He refuses to get it reupholstered and uses duck tape which he replaces weekly. ) Well I cleaned up all that duck tape and added this super tape on his leather seat. You can not see the tear in the leather at all!! 4 weeks of him slipping in and out of that truck at construction sites and it still holding up! It hasn't lifted anywhere!!! I would of given 5 stars except for the suspicious way it arrived. A little pricey but well worth it!!

The only product to repair kite and wing innertubes.
The best product to repair kitesurf innertubes. Sticks amazingly well and helped repair our kites in our kite school many times. I bought a knock off on a Chinese platform which was garbage and couldn't be used. The original isn't cheap but well worth the cost.

Best repair tape ever made, and I've tried them all over 40 years of guiding.
I have super good outdoor gear because I'm a 40 year veteran river guide, and it needs to be in perfect condition. Since I'm older now, it also needs to be ultralight for backpacking, and thus the material can be fragile (like me!). I'm always looking for a better way to repair tears and rips in my rafts, tents, rain gear, etc. This stuff is the best stuff I've EVER found. Super light, sticks to anything (even old ripstop), stretches and bends without peeling off, rainproof for my recent tear in an expensive rainfly, fixed a raft tear on the fly until I got to my warehouse, you name it. This stuff is the last repair tape I'll ever need (and I aint' getting paid for this!) I just received a query about this tape regarding a Coleman canvas mattress. Here's the stuff you should use: Therma Rest's Hot Bond. Comes with fabric, glue and mini-popsicle stick.

Too stretchy for dacron or mylar sails, wings or kites.
Stretchy. It is very thin, so it doesn't hold much pressure without distortion. The instruction say to reinforce with 80 lbs. fishing line. Hmmm. They should make a version with fiberglass cloth inside the tape. I hope to be able to apply to some other projects.

Tear Aid has many uses - and getting it by the roll is more cost effective.
I've use the Tear Aid Fabric Repair in countless applications over the years, and buying it by the roll and cutting to the size I need is the the most cost effective method. I have used this for both emergency or permanent canvas or cotton repair - whether it be for my clothing, backpacking and camping equipment. The key to making sure it sticks well to the fabric is how clean the fabric is to start. If it is not possible to clean the fabric first, like in the case of emergency or field repair, at least make sure the fabric is dry. If the fabric is dirty, and you don't have any masking tape, use a sacrificial piece of Tear aid to remove the dirt particles, then another piece to join or repair the fabric. Note this is not the best for cosmetics - if you really care about how it looks when you are done, although this is clear, you are going to see the repair. Plus, if your fingers aren't clean, the sticky side may get polluted and you'll see the fingerprints through the clear tape after installation. Bottom line is this is a great product if the fabric is clean and dry, and if applied correctly, it can last a long time. For less than ideal conditions, a little more care has to be taken and at least make sure the fabric is dry for best results. Thanks for reading.

Excellent and very sticky
Tear aid material kit A is an excellent product, it’s extremely sticky so don’t let it touch anything other than what you want to stick it too.

Tear Aid
J'ai acheté différents types de produits de réparation et aucun n'a donné les résultats voulu.....sauf Tear Aid. Ce produit est vraiment d'une qualité supérieur. Je le recommande et va surement en acheter encore.
