Comfortable, rugged and ready for all terrain!
I picked up the NORTIV 8 hiking boots for a recent trip to the Lake District and I’ve been incredibly impressed. From first wear, they’ve been solid performers — combining comfort, waterproofing, and great grip at a price point that’s hard to beat. Out of the box, they look smart and tough. The construction is clearly high quality, with reinforced stitching, solid metal eyelets and a durable outsole that doesn’t feel like it’s going to wear down quickly. I went for my normal size (UK 10) and the fit was spot on — roomy enough for thicker hiking socks, but still snug enough to give proper support. Comfort is excellent — there’s good ankle support without being restrictive, and the cushioned insole and tongue make long walks much easier on the feet. I’ve done multiple 10–15km hikes across mixed terrain (stone, mud, steep inclines), and they’ve kept my feet stable and blister-free. Waterproofing is also fantastic. I’ve waded through puddles, walked in heavy rain, and crossed shallow streams, and not once have my socks ended up wet. The upper dries relatively quickly too, and doesn’t stay soggy for days like some heavier boots. The sole provides excellent grip — deep lugs that bite into soft ground without clogging up too easily. I’ve had no slips even on wet rocks or muddy tracks, which is exactly what you want from a hiking boot. The only thing I’d mention is that they’re a bit heavier than lightweight trail runners — but the added weight brings durability and protection, so it’s a fair trade-off. In short, these NORTIV 8 boots are brilliant for weekend walkers, serious hikers, or just anyone who needs a tough, waterproof boot for outdoor work or leisure. I’ll definitely be buying another pair when these eventually wear out.

Excellent value for money
I've held off on reviewing these until I'd put them through their paces which, after 15 months of continuous use, I now have. I wear them multiple times a week for walks of around 6 hours, mostly on stony ground, and the soles have yet to go through. In fact, apart from a couple of worn spots on the heels, they still look largely brand new. There are a couple of small holes in the outer shell where it naturally creases so they're probably not fully waterproof any more but that's the only obvious sign of wear. Even the laces are still fully intact. They're also extremely easy to get on and off and comfortable from the get-go. No blisters! In summary, I think these are great value for money, with a level of comfort and durability that I'd normally expect to pay twice as much for. An excellent option if you need something long-lasting but don't fancy breaking the bank.

An excellent boot
Ok… firstly, I don’t usually leave reviews. But, I’v had these boots for a good while now, and they are excellent. I had worn these extensively for walking, hiking, fishing trips. and more recently at work on various building sites (I know, minus the steel toe cap)! But they have proven so comfortable when I’ve struggled to find boots that are suitable. Durable, waterproof (under normal conditions) and so comfortable with a decent ‘wide’ fit so you don’t feel cramped. They are starting to wear now, but going strong, and I will reinvest when/if they give out before I do!!..I just feel I had to say how good they have been for me. A cracking boot, at a very reasonable price. Thank you Nortiv.

Not recommended
Interested in a wide fit, on receipt my initial thoughts were positive & that these are very comfortable. Having had them for 3 months, wearing them 3 or 4 times a week for suburban walks (ie. not mountaineering!) I am disappointed that the seams are already coming apart, particularly around the toe caps. The side panels just above the soles are perishing and despite being marketed & labelled as such they are not waterproof. The soles themselves show little sign of wear, but the upper now looks very tired & worn. I guess it's the old adage of getting what you pay for. Even so, I feel 3 months is a poor lifespan.

Waterproof Hmmm
Very very comfortable. Easy to break in. Easy to lace up. Nice feel. Very light on the foot. Nice grip. Good looks. Big eyelets. But They are not waterproof. The doles are a little thin so you can feel sharp rocks underfoot I used them for 14 day’s hiking in Scotland and would not use them in that changeable climate again. I even used gaiters thinking the water ran off off my trousers but that made no difference. They look like they should be waterproof but they are not. I’m a mountain leader and was taking students cross country and the last thing I want is 14 days of wet feet. I would use them on nice days when there is no rain in places like Italy

A must buy product
At first I was bit sceptical about purchasing looking onto the limited reviews however I liked the shoes design and details. I must say you will not be disappointed with the quality, design and comfort. A very good pair of shoes and I highly recommend it. I have seen both the brown and black variant (Initially I ordered the brown pair but returned), and I went with the black one which looks even better in every terms compared to the other. Thank you NortiV8.

★★★★★ Excellent Hiking Boots That Have Exceeded My Expectations**
I've been pleasantly surprised by these NORTIV 8 hiking boots. I spend a lot of my free time hiking in the mountains of North Georgia, and most of my hikes are between **6 and 8 miles** over rocky, uneven terrain with plenty of elevation changes. Many of the trails I hike also require crossing streams or navigating muddy sections, so I needed a boot that could handle a variety of conditions. So far, these boots have been outstanding. Right out of the box, they were comfortable with very little break-in period. The cushioning has been excellent, even after spending several hours on the trail. The ankle support is just right—secure enough for rough terrain without feeling stiff or restrictive. The traction has also impressed me. I've hiked over loose gravel, exposed tree roots, rocky trails, wet leaves, and creek crossings, and the boots have maintained solid footing throughout. I haven't experienced any slipping that made me question my footing. One of the biggest reasons I purchased these boots was the waterproof protection, and they've lived up to my expectations. I've crossed several shallow streams and walked through wet grass and muddy areas without ending up with wet feet. That's a huge plus when you're several miles from the trailhead. Another thing I've appreciated is how lightweight they feel compared to some heavier hiking boots I've owned. After hiking 6 to 8 miles, my feet don't feel as fatigued as they have with bulkier boots. For the price, I honestly think these boots offer exceptional value. Are they built exactly like a $180 premium hiking boot? Probably not. But for casual to moderate day hiking, they've performed far better than I expected and have given me plenty of confidence on the trail. If you're looking for a comfortable, waterproof hiking boot for day hikes, state parks, mountain trails, or weekend adventures without spending a fortune, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend these. So far, they've exceeded my expectations, and I'm very happy with my purchase.

Passen super und sind bequem. Zusätzlich immer mal imprägnieren und sie halten auch bei Regenwetter die Füße trocken.
