Godefroy Hair Color Kit for Spot Coloring, Covers Up Gray Hairs, Dark Brown, 4-Application Kit, Pack of 1

Since turning 40, I have been exploring options of dyi beauty treatments that will make me look better without makeup and this product was actually recommended to me by my AI assistant. The process is simple and quick - less than 10 minutes from setup to cleanup and the results were shockingly good, IMHO. This is so much better (and natural looking) than makeup and i feel like it’s made me look much younger. I have recommended this product to my friends, used it on my mom, and would urge you to give it a try.

As an LME, I can confirm this produces pro results. My observations: 1ST USE: - [ ] - Capsule with gel is easy to use. Do not spill powder on white marble counter (or light colored floor)-it will stain. Use acetone nail polish remover immediately to remove. There is no brush included in box to apply. There is a small mixing cup, 4 mixing wooden sticks, & 4 capsules & processing gel for 4 applications. - [ ] - I tried both a brow and fine, firm, shorter length eyeliner brush and preferred the liner brush strokes for more precise application. - [ ] - My box was marked “Light Brown” but the instructions said the color would come out according to the length of time you left it on (all the way up to Black) and I found this to be the case, as mine came out slightly darker than I was expecting, although I did 3 passes at 1-2 min. intervals. My reason for doing this was filling in spots again only where I am missing hair, and the dye does stain those areas and does a good job of blending in missing areas. If you want the closest to light brown, I recommend 1 pass only! - [ ] - The brown is a cool brown, and I have warm tones and warmth in my hair, so I wish there was a warm (and true “light” brown option. - [ ] - I have very sensitive skin and even with 3 passes, I had no reactions. I wiped clean with cool water and very mild cleanser after, patted dry and applied moisturizer. There was no lightening. No lightening the next morning when I did my regular wash & facial routine. - [ ] - By day 3, they had lightened up to the perfect color. I did intentionally use face wash and rub them dry after washing to help lighten some, so if you don’t want any lightening, I would suggest to avoid doing that. 2ND USE: - [ ] - Same results - 2 passes was a better option to keep from being too dark and the 2nd pass was only applied on the bare spots. I skipped using mild cleanser afterwards this time, and felt a little more dryness on my skin and continued darkening after rinsing than the first time, so I will continue with wiping with cool water & the cleanser in the future so that I can get the light brown results I’m looking for. - [ ] - The results from the 1st time only lasted me one week. I do wash my face twice daily, and find that using cleanser directly on them will lighten them quicker. (So if they come out too dark, that can be helpful!) All in all, this is great for a quick fix before a vacation, if you are in between microblading visits, etc. The plus for me is that is did not affect my super sensitive skin—no reactions. For me, having to do it weekly isn’t totally ideal time-wise, but it certainly does beat penciling them on everyday! Hope this helps. :-)

I got my eyebrows professionally done (microneedling) 2 years ago. They are fading more and this product helps give them a refreash!! Super easy to use and dyes them within 3/4 minutes! I always leave on slightly longer just to make sure it gets everything good! Be careful when applying for shaping, it will dye your skin a little. But the little wooden stick to mix with has an applicator side to put it on your brows. Love this product and helps with maintenance on brows so I don't have to fill in spots where I dont have many eyebrow hairs! 100% reccomend. I am surprised this product doesn't have higher ratings because its awesome!!!!

dyes quickly, you don't need alot if you are doing your eyebrows

This is a 5⭐️ purchase, and lasts FOREVER. My pictures show before and after. One picture was taken in daytime and the other in evening in different lighting but you can see the brow difference with this tint. Before shaping the brow appears light and misshapen, then after it looks like the brow has brow powder on. What I do: 1) pluck my shape with normal tweezers 2) make sure i brush the brow hairs up to the sky with the spoolie end of your brow brush, and trim a tiny bit with tiny brow scissors so the hairs are no longer than the top of the brow. Once my brows are cleaned up and shaped, I prep this tint. I never need a whole capsule which means this lasts forever. I’ll open up a capsule carefully, and only spill out half or even one third. Then I’ll gently put the two halves back together and save it for next time. To apply this, I bought an eyebrow brush such as Anastasia Beverly Hills 7B dual sided brow brush which has the angled tip on one side and a spoolie on the other. Or any cheap brow brush with an angled brow powder applicator. I use that like a paint brush to paint this on, following my brow shape. If you can’t do it easily, you can buy brow stencils which let you more accurately apply the color in the stencil on your skin. Then I leave it on for about 3 min. Then I wipe it off with a cotton pad with makeup remover or water. Pro tip: At first your skin will have a bit of the color. So you never want to do this the day of your event or the day before because they’re more intense the day of. They look best once they “marinate” in my opinion, in other words they’ve had about 48 hours for you to wash your face as normal. This way the dye washes off your skin and your hairs are left dyed. You can see in my “after” photo which is about 3 days after I tinted my brows and honestly I love them the most at that point. They last about 8-9 days then I go again. It takes me 10 min from start to finish.

It's very dark. Ordered medium brown which is my normal touch up shade. VERY dark. If I order again will get light brown. So be careful choosing a shade. It's easy to use and covers well.

I’ve been using this for years! If you let it sit only a few minutes the dark brown is perfect for a natural blonde-turned-brunette If you leave it longer, it’s a really dark, rich brown (which i do when i am platinum for a more stark look). Note: I’m a lighter skinned whit woman with blue eyes. Okay, my process! Work intentionally and with precision and you will be pleased. Promise. *Obviously don’t get it in your eyes but, as my title says, i use this exclusively for my brows* Put oil or something around your brow shape to prevent staining on surrounding skin, though it comes off pretty well with soap, better safe than sorry :) Mix between a dime or nickel size amount (obv less for thinner brows, more for thicker) of both the powder and cream in the little bowl provided. I brush eyebrows up, apply liberally, brush brows down, reapply. Use a wet wash cloth or paper towel to clean up edges. You can also use the little wood stick to pinpoint hairs that are being stubborn and need more product. Let sit 2-3 min for lighter/natural look, 4-5 for darker look. This depends on how porous your hair is, of course. I did it two minutes the first time and liked the color. But, again, depends on your hair type—err on the side of caution / use your own discretion :) Use a dry towel to wipe off product. Dry towel is important just in case you want to reapply to go darker! Wet hair won’t absorb as much color. When you’re happy with the tint, *then* use the wet towel with some sort of soap to remove excess. I’ve used hand soap and face wash, either work so long as you’re not letting it run into your eyes ;) The color lasts as long as they would if you went to get them professionally done imo. But, for a fraction of the price! This whole box will last you several applications and is about half of what you pay at a salon or makeup store etc. We do lose hair as new ones come in, so i redo the color every 2-3 weeks depending on the season affecting hair regrowth. Hope this helps if you’re on the fence!

Works really well! I opened over a piece of ceran wrap due to the other review saying it's messy and stains quickly, which is does. If you can rinse the little bowl outside somewhere I would do so because it was a nightmare scrubbing out of my sink in the little spots it splashed. I'm about 10 days in and it still looks amazing. I have pretty thin eyebrows and it dyed them in about 3-4 minutes. Wiped it off with mild soap and a cotton pad. I wiped it on with the end of the wooden mixer then used a q-tip to define and it didn't stain my skin in the time it took to do so. Will definitely purchase again!

El producto superó mis expectativas, es muy fácil de utilizar. El instructivo recomienda dejar el producto por dos minutos para el tono que adquirí, así lo hice pero decidí dejarlo 2 minutos más y mis cejas quedaron perfectas, se ven más abundantes pero naturales. Hay que delinear muy bien el diseño de la ceja antes de aplicar para que quede la forma que quieres.

Super easy to use but I feel like the tint could last a little bit longer.
