More beautiful in person. Fits my mixer perfect. Very happy with this purchase.

This is a very pretty bowl. I'm so happy I purchased it. I've had my Kitchen Aid stand mixer for 25 years and always used the stainless steel bowl it came with but never liked not being able to put the bowl in the dishwasher. I saw this online. It serves two purposes: 1) wonderful, sturdy, chip resistant mixing bowl that is dishwasher safe 2) pretty flowers that liven up my almond colored stand mixer for a nice decorative look on the kitchen counter. A little pricey but it should last for a very long time. It arrived fast from the seller. Some reviewers said it broke the base of their mixer or is too fragile to use. I honestly haven't had that problem. It fits into the stand mixer base as easily as the stainless steel bowl. This is also a KitchenAid product, not a 3rd party manufacturer. If it doesn't fit after you order, I would contact KitchenAid. It is porcelain but heavy-duty. I might mention, I don't use the metal mixer attachments but purchased KitchenAid plastic with rubber attachments that are an optional purchase so that might make a difference. The plastic attachments have been my preference for years and they are dishwasher safe, too.

The wife loves it. The bowl works great with the mixer and goes right into the fridge to chill. It looks great sitting on the countertop.

The quality of this bowl is excellent very typical of KitchenAid brand mixer products. The decorative print is very pretty and the glass is very sturdy. The bowl fit my mixer perfectly but it is a bit heavy.
