Great confidence for a hesitant child.
This fit well on our 5 year old grandson. He has had some swim lessons, but was still hesitant about water over his head. He wore this for the first time this past weekend and had me "throwing" him. He would go under and bob right back up and wanted to go again and again. With more confidence he tried more things and practiced and strengthened his kicking.

Good for small children
Not so much for the kids that are already jumping in and out of the water. Since it doesn’t have shoulder straps it slides off the body. Would recommend for children that are just getting acclimated with the water.

Swim safe for toddler
Bought this for my 18 month old grandson. We feel much safer in the pool with him wearing this (even though there is always someone watching him). It goes on easily yet has a very secure latch. Nice that a bag was included for carrying it when wet as well as a waterproof pouch for my cellphone
