COSCO Band/Strap Cutter

I deal with bundled magazines at work often, so I finally decided to cough up a few bucks for one of these and let me say - GAME CHANGER! It’s compact enough to fit in the cup with my pens and it cuts through small straps like butter.

Sturdy and sharp. I bought this for opening hay bales. PERFECT! And the blades are replaceable.

I bought this to use at work. It works well. You can replace the blade when it gets dull. It is mostly plastic so it will probably break eventually like the one I bought this to replace. I had that one for a couple years of daily use. Hopefully this will last as long

We are a tree farm and used it to cut the string off of bailed Christmas trees . It worked great for 100 trees then seemed to get very dull. It would be fine if we bought multiple knives. When we are setting up for the season there is no time to changed blades.

Bought this to cut net wrap on round bales. This is probably not the ideal tool for that purpose, though it will do the trick if you hold the net wrap tight with one hand while cutting with the other. As a cutting tool for twine or bands it would be my go-to, hands down. Will probably seek a different tool for the net wrap in the future, however.

Very poor design. I had a feeling the wedged two blades design wouldn’t jive with physics… that design doesn’t work unless the blades moved like scissors, but instead the material just bunches up at the union and becomes super difficult to cut, as in my case with simple plastic banding.

Great for cutting shrink wrap off pallets. Safer than keeping a box cutter in pocket. Real sharp but almost impossible to cut yourself.
