Buy Hexbug VEX Robotics Construction Set - Ant - The build-it-yourself line of HEXBUG VEX Robotics fosters creative STEM learning through hands-on play by allowing kids to construct their very own jumbo-sized HEXBUG and customize its programming. The Ant kit has over 150 snap together pieces, 6 wheels, dual bump sensors and interlocking gears. Once built, it will roll around and respond with every hit of the bump sensor. The Ant's large wheels allow it to climb over obstacles in its path. There are two drive modes, manual driver controlled via remote control or autonomous. Autonomous drive mode is customizable with 64 different programming variations. To program, simply flip a series of switches on the robot's brain, allowing for quick experimentation with different modes to determine how it reacts when the sensors are activated.
