Sutures and needles are sterile; manufactured in the same facility as medical grade sutures; underwent identical sterilization process by exposure to ethylene oxide or irradiation with cobalt-60.
Sutures are 75 centimeters (29.5 inches) in length; made of either high quality monofilament or multifilament (braided) or synthetic fibers; have high tensile strength; uniform diameter.
All needles are 3/8 circle reverse cutting needles; made of high quality stainless steel; slim, rigid, and extremely sharp.
