Spinal Stenosis: Understanding the Problem and Finding the Best Solutions for Symptom Relief

Full of stuff only doctors know!

I enjoyed and learned a lot from this book, but I wish it was a little more in . I'm a physical therapist and see stenosis a lot. This is a tough problem that is hard to relieve.

Bought for my mom who is 82. She raves about how she can go back and reread sections and it is clear to understand. I am grateful!!

Other than the authors paranoia with pain meds, for elderly in Chromic pain, not the view of my 2 Surgeons, PCP and Neurologist, who advised me to never apologize for the need for them. I am 66 and have had 4 fusions in my upper and lower spine along with DDD and Kyphosis and Thoracic Scoliosis, so my life is constant pain. I do still fight thru it and do my PT, walking etc and not once have abused my Rx' s. I take as directed or not at all on a good day. Otherwise the book is semi helpful.

This book gave me a better understanding of exactly what spinal stenosis is. It also included safe exercises and explained treatment options.

Good information in this book.

The book was not that informative. I found the book by Jim Johnson a much more helpful informative book. I returned this book.
