Gurin Professional Rechargeable Oral Irrigator Water Flosser with High Capacity Water Tank

I bought these Gurin Oral Irrigators for both my husband and I. After using mine (on the lesser setting), I came to appreciate how clean it made my mouth feel. It feels pretty much like after a dental cleaning (without the bit of soreness from the dental tools). Someone here complained about it being difficult to fill with water. I don't have that problem -- I don't remove the blue water container; I just flip open the top (above the blue container) and run water into it. I don't even use a small stream of water; I just turn the water on and let it flow into the container. Also, with something like this, you put the tip in your mouth *before* you turn it on -- otherwise, the water will come out through the tip without anything to stop it (like your mouth!). Same thing as with an electric toothbrush ... put the toothpaste on the brush and put the brush head in your mouth *before* you turn it on! (Unless you like cleaning.) Anyway, am very pleased with these units (my husband has remarked on it as well). To be honest, we also have a big-name water "pik" from many years ago, but I am pleased with the convenience of the Gurin and the ability to tuck it away in the medicine cabinet. You may have to refill the water in one session (depending on how long you're using it) ... but at any rate, it's convenient, does a better job than I would have thought, and is easy to use.

I received the product in the mail a few days ago and have been using it numerous times per day. Overall, it does a fantastic job, and I really like that I am able to set how strong of a water flow I want. The battery seems to last a while as well, as I have only had to charge it when I received it, and i can say that I have used the product 10+ times by now. The only reason I am not giving it a 5-star is because it takes a while to fill it up with water due to the opening being a tiny bit small. I wish the opening was a bit bigger for a quicker fill-up. Otherwise, I can only praise and recommend this product to anyone who is actively pursuing a healthy mouth.

Love! I received this in time for my trip to the West Coast, shipping was 2 day as promised. It is true, you must start on the low setting, I have a larger version from another company & I am used to the "medium-ish" setting, but this one was so much more powerful on high, so use the lower first or proceed with caution. My teeth have no gaps & are tight so the higher setting is best FOR ME. The lower works perfectly fine as well. You do have to move swiftly & take care of business on the first filling of the reservoir, otherwise, a second filling of the bottle will be necessary. This product does what it is intended to do, which is to allow you to travel with your water flosser & easy to use. I charged it only once for a 7 day trip & it never needed a 2nd charge, a plus! The tip stays on firmly, so I have to work mine a bit to get it off. So glad I got it! Truth be told, I may switch to this one in the mornings since its quicker, LOL! Very happy with this purchase!

I found this water flosser to be very helpful to clean down between the gums and the teeth. I have a sensitive tooth that's lost its enamel and it makes it very hard to floss it or scrape it using dental floss string or metal picks. So the water flosser works well. The power is adjustable which I use it on normal but when my teeth hurt I use the pulse mode and it really feels good. the unit is very easy to fill, through the top, or by the bottle itself by removing it. the nozzels are easy to replace. But although I think one thing they could have is a nozzel that curves back inwards to get behind the teeth a lot easier. Another thing I have to get used to, is that I forget to turn the switch off when I take my finger off and then pull it out of my mouth water sprays all over the place like a high force squirt gun. hehe! :-). A momentary switch would probably be handier. But I still give this 5 stars because it does make a lot easier than using the string or picks :-) Update.. I'm bringing mine review down to one star. I've only got one full charge use out of this unit. when it was completely dead I went back to try to charge it again for a second charge. This instructions say to leave it on for 8 hours. I left it on for 3 days the light still blinking will not keep a charge. I unplugged it turned it on and buzzed and it died. so it's just a one time usr, a disposable unit. I recommended do not buy this because it will not charge a second time. :-(

Works great ,only had short time, powerful but hat lower settings, I recommend it. I really like this product, battery keeps charged for a long time so it can be at close hand when ever I finish eating, it's right there.Has lower setting so I don't blow my lips off,water container just enough. Wish I had this sooner ,but everyone should have one to get t the gums cleaned of food. GOOD JOB Well follow up ,purchased oct1st , paid for oct 2nd, received oct 3rd , became defective nov 15th unit would turn on by itself waking the wife up in the middle of the night, contacted co nov 16th, said they would replace with new one ,now its nov 28th nothing yet, only took 3 days to get 1st one ,,,. Whats up?Now nov 29th nothing yet.Dec 4th rec'd replacement for defect, thank s everyone from amazon customer service , but I noticed my original order was removed from my purchase site, hum! feb 8 2019 works great I would recommend this and my dentist as well , bought one for my niececs.

I purchased this product based on a recommendation from my dentist. The only reason I gave it 3 stars vs. 5 stars is because it was to powerful for me. It is very powerful even on the lowest setting. My teeth have varying spacing which means I have some that are very tight and some that have more space. I usually tear dental floss when trying to get between the tight teeth which is why the dentist recommended this product. I did end up with some bleeding and discomfort after use because the areas where I had small spaces allowed the stream of water to go through my teeth with ease and hit the back of my throat and roof of mouth. This isn't the products fault, it's a user error/ learning curve/ personal issue. The product worked exactly as stated in the description. The product did work exceptionally well and had my teeth feeling clean just like after flossing and brushing. I do recommend this product for anyone who wants a clean feeling after use, but be careful if you have small spaces. I can definitely see how this increases oral health. I will try it a few more times, but if I can't get past my personal discomfort feeling, I will likely have to stop using it or only use it on areas that won't allow pass through.

I just got this in the mail today and I am so glad I bought it. I have been using a Waterpik brand oral irrigator for years but recently we went on a vacation and I could not bring that huge counter top style one with me so I wanted to get a portable unit. I looked at all the different brands and decided on this because of good reviews and the price. The water flosser by Gurin is easy to user. At first I thought it was going to be hard to remove the tank, but then I discovered there is a little door you can open and close so you do not have to remove the tank to fill it. This is great. You do have to fill at a slow trickle because the opening is small but once you get the hang of it, it's not too hard. It comes with two tips so two people can use it. The tips are color coded so you know which one is yours. The tips slide in and out easily. It comes with a charger which plugs into the wall and then into the unit. The unit flashes while it is charging. Mine came fully charged. To use fill with comfortably warm water and put it in your mouth before you turn it on. It does take some time to get used to how to hold it and how to water floss. The first few times you will probably have to refill because until you figure out what you are doing it takes longer. I would start out at the slower speed until your gums get used to the feel of the flosser. Then I would increase to the max water pressure for the best cleaning. The water pressure is not as much as my waterpik unit on top speed but maybe it is the same as the waterpik on 6(out of 10 speeds) That is certainly adequate. I am super happy with my purchase. I purchased this oral irrigator and liked it despite the fact that the chamber didn't seem to hold enough water and I would have to stop and refill it before I could finish. After a number of months of use it seemed to lose its water power (force of stream), and the highest setting felt like the lowest setting (and this was on a full battery charge). I thought we'd just worn it out so I purchased another one. There were some minor design changes to the new irrigator but generally speaking it was the same. However, the water stream on the highest setting was, once again, much weaker than it should have been. I love using an oral irrigator, but I think I will give up on the Gurin brand and try a different brand next.

Muy buen producto, no le doy 5* por que la capacidad del liquido, se queda corta, a mi no me alcanza lleno para un buen uso de una sola ves, tengo que rellenarlo antes de terminal con el lavado bucal.
