Sturdy, lightweight, and great clips
The best thing about this strap is the clips. The clips are a combination of metal and rugged plastic. I ordered straps from a different company that supposedly specializes in shoulder straps, and the clips were all plastic and cheaply made. I also ordered a strap from another company where the clip was all metal, but that also did not work because it made the strap too heavy. The clips on the Maxpedition strap are perfect because it has both metal and rugged plastic. It makes it sturdy and lightweight at the same time. One would think that you could easily get straps like this online, but I have found them to be pretty rare. For smaller bags, I get the 1.5 inch width. For duffle bags, I use the 2 inch width. Some people prefer clips that are all metal, but I think it adds too much weight, and is not worth it. The Maxpedition strap is the perfect answer.

Great Addition for a MOLLE bag with 'D' rings.
I bought a new MOLLE bag to make a kit out of but it didn't come with a shoulder strap. I got this one from Maxpedition and solved that problem. The strap is well made, good materials and stitching. It is wide enough and comes with a pad to increase comfort on the bony part of your shoulder blade. Works great and didn't break the bank.

Worth the money and more
I purchased this for a shoulder bag I would be using for a trip. This strap is great. It has more than enough strength to carry an average size bag.(20" + or - 3 inches) It matched the color of my khaki bag and is wide enough to not "dig into" my shoulder...it has ample adjustment to lengthen and shorten to your individual needs.. the clips on the ends fasten in with a sharp snap...great..I recommend this to anybody that wants to upgrade their carry straps for their luggage...Note... how many of us have had a bag fall because of a poor strap with weak connections and lost a valuable item...yep enough said...for this price it's a good deal..enjoy..

Overall, seems really good...
Obviously, and expectedly, this strap was not designed for heavy weight carrying. Nonetheless, it does appear well made and reasonably durable if used within its weight limit. I will update if problems arise during subsequent usage.

I like it but it could be a little longer.
It is a shoulder strap. Not a lot to say. The material is a little rough so you might want to buy the optional pad if you carry something heavy. No problems with quality. I wish it was 2 inches longer but it is OK.

Solid, versatile
Attached this strap to my large revolver chest holster to facilitate carrying the weapon in a slung position at the waist. The Maxpedition Gear 1.5-Inch black shoulder pad is a worthwhile enhancement. The combination works nicely.

Bought it for a couple of bags that did not have straps
This strap goes perfectly with two of my bags. You would never know that it was an add on. The olive green color strap is a subtle enough color to go with just about any bag. Good quality too.

For the Cost it should be made a little better. This does not match Coyote Brown.
This strap is just OK. This strap cost more than other brands, but for the money is should be made better. The nylon strap itself is fine, but the plastic used for the adjustment slide and clips feels cheap. The clips and swivels need to be made out of metal. Also this strap does not match other coyote brown bags. This strap is more of a tan color.
