Very happy with this journal. A simple clean design and made, undoubtedly, with genuine leather with an aroma reminiscent of shoe shops of bye-gone days. The unruled pad supplied is of reasonable quality and serves me well for sketching. Pads are easily interchangeable.

This is a present for our son who will be travelling abroad for the next couple of years. Good quality, attractive and easy to pack in a small space. We hope he will be able to document his travels.

It’s lovely, well presented, good paper, nice pen, marks easily but is very sturdy, it’s what I’ve been looking for at the right kind of price, easy refill, no strings, just slide it in and go.

Delivered on time and was well-packaged. This is a great notebook. Right size and a lot of pages. I like the idea that the whole pad can be removed and a new one added. So you can buy a refill in advance if you wish to do so. The leather is really a protective case for the notebook. However, it looks really professional.

This is beautiful, such great quality with careful and friendly packaging! I can’t wait to start using it - may have to order a few more. The leather wrap around strip does come out if that’s not our thing but it adds so much character to the product. Very happy with the purchase.

This journal is exactly as described. The craftsmenship is nothing out of the ordinary, however there's no disappointment. The fact that you are able to just rub away the marks left behind is pretty cool and you can also buy the refillable book, which is also pretty dope. The card slot is useful, if you ever need to put a business card of some sorts there. The pen although at first looks and feels cheap it is actually really nice to write with, however it is a shame you can't buy a replacement pen. I would say though and I think another reviewer mentioned it, the pen holder clip will cause slight damage to the leather journal, if you are constantly going to be moving/removing it and adding back on.

I was a bit sceptical buying this one, thinking it might be too good to be true - turns out it isn't at all. It's even better in real life than it is in the descriptions and the pictures here (might add my own in a later edit), at least the dark brown version, which is the one that I ordered. It looks more natural and less glossy than it does in the descrition. Item is obviously new but looks and feels like it has been built to last a lifetime. The notepads I use a quite large and thick (Perfectly Penned dotted A5) but this cover fits like a glove. Well pleased with this purchase.

Gorgeous product with a luxury quality. A great gift for someone special. Only issue is I ordered a dark brown and received the brown. It was too late to sent back as it was for a birthday the next day!

Jättefin läder journal, mjuk och följsam. Pennan som medföljer överraskande bra med svart bläck. Rekommenderar starkt. Boken är en soft cover A5 som håller sig öppen när man skriver. Det ända som förhindrar fullpott är pennhållare som rent estetiskt är ganska ful i mitt tycke. Den gör vad den ska men kommer byta bort den.

Conforme et bon toucher

Finding a well made, leather cover for my sketchbooks and journals has been a challenge. I've made my own in the past but limited space means making replacements can be hard. The reviews have been instrumental in making a choice and they weren't wrong. While simple in design it serves its purpose well. Made of thick, fine grained leather it offers protection but is pliable and will weather nicely. the stitching goes all the way around and there's no gluing so you get the nice smell of leather and zero chemicals. The edging is lightly burnished especially near the internal pockets. The included unlined sketchbook/ journal is decent but importantly it's held by sliding the back cover through a piece of stitched leather versus an elastic holding the book at its spine. I use the Canson XL statement size sketchbooks and there's actually enough length and give to cover it even with the coil binding. On the inside is a card pocket and slot to put loose notes and what not's. Rather than sew in a pen/pencil holder their solution is to provide a leather and metal clip so you can attach your pen or pencil wherever suits you. There is also an included refillable, ballpoint pen. Overall, I'm impressed and am pleased with this purchase and may order another to gift.
