No rust proof.
The only rust proof is the plastic tray. After two weeks signs of rust in the soldering.Definitely cheap manufacturing not worth the money.I keep the flimsy tray and will keep you posted .And unlikely some items I expect a drainer to last so I thrown away the box.

NOT RUST-FREE!!!
Really good construction, really sturdy but in 2 weeks it rusted everywhere! What a waste of money....really beautiful only if you dont use it!!!
