Cherne 270229 End-of-Pipe Gripper Mechanical Test Plug, 2", Yellow

Purchased this to check for a leak in our shower pan. It worked perfectly-easy to use and kept a very tight seal in the drain. Thankfully we did not have leak in our shower pan or drain, but glad I purchased anyway to rule out these issues. Much less expensive than hiring a plumber to do the test. I would definitely purchase again.

Does what it's supposed to do: seal off the open pipe end from an old washing machine hookup. Be forewarned: the box contains MANY of these! I plan to keep them around for closing vents during pool shutdown next fall.

This was super easy and worked perfectly. We have a pipe from an old washing machine that isn't in use and this worked perfectly to close it up. It seems really durable, I measured and the size was perfect. I literally unpackaged it, walked over and open pipe/gross smell problem was solved. It seals very well.
