We had to purchase an alarm for our back door when we got a pool installed in our back yard. Our county requires all home doors to have an active alarm so if children open the back door to go out to the pool, adults are alerted. This alarm is VERY loud and works great. Even the county inspector that came to the house after the pool installation was done was impressed. The remote is nice because the unit it installed at the top of the door to keep it out of reach of little ones. Easy to install and can be turned on and off depending on whether you have children in your home.

These work great! I use them when I go on vacation for the windows and doors and it gave me peace of mind knowing I could hear if someone came in. They are definitely loud enough to alert you. I used them for over 2 weeks and never had to change the batteries

This meets the requirement as a door alarm for an in ground pool. Pretty low profile and barely noticeable. Love the remote.

No issue with devices other than our final inspection for our pool was denied because these alarms do not meet the requirements in our town. The fact that they can be turned off remotely was an issue. Check with your town ahead of time.

My first order was for the patio door when my house was for sale. I had a pool. Left fob on counter with a note to tell buyers how it was a safety feature. Now with second order, it's on my front and back doors of new home. Also, ordered a set for a friend so they felt secure. Great value...

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Spent couple hours attempting to get the device working with support for internet service. Not once did the app , 2 computer (asus, hp), or 3 phone(iPhone, Samsung, Motorola)pick up any signal or new device show up. It does keep if magnet is moved away so showing good batteries. The sensor is very picky about placement making it unreliable and remote did not function when ten feet away. Want my money givin back, more and more misleading products as

We needed 2 door alarms after installing an inground pool. The ones they recommended were much more expensive and had no off switch?! These went up in a minute, sleek looking, have an off switch (the remote is great) and they were a great price! Pool passed inspection!
