A touching movie
A heartwarming tale of a simpleton, who recollects his life in flashbacks. Right from his troubled childhood to his stardom lifestyle after the Vietnam War, the movie remarkably captures the simplistic life of fictitious southerner Forrest Gump. His relationship with his mother and his wife, and his friendship with his platoon commander are some of the moments exploring the true nature of Gump's character, which earned Tom Hanks his second Best Actor award at the Oscars.
