Excellent cable for connecting an older monitor (DVI only) to a docking station with HDMI ports. Worked perfectly and we can keep using the monitors that we have.

Bought this cable because my 6 year old gpu doesn't have a display port only a hdmi and dvi port, it works great, dont get more than 143hz while using it. Something else I notice is that it affects my wifi speed for some reason because of how close it is to my pcie wifi adapter antennas. Good value for money, long enough, easy to connect, good picture quality.

This seems like a well-made cable and works well. My old monitor has VGA and DVI connectors. My new mini computer only supports HDMI. This adapter cost less than a new monitor.

I am a Dad and it is not normaly if I don't have one of these around in a drawer or in use somewhere. Newer video cards have implemented HDMI, HDMI Mini, along with the DVI ports these days. In some cases you have more than a few ports for monitor displays, but not all monitors have the updated plugs. Most are fitted with VGA, DVI, DVI-D, but your Video card needs DVI, HDMI, Mini HDMI, and now the DP slot that makes an L, but looks just like an HDMI slot. Anyways, this cable connected to my HDMI Port on my video card, and the DVI plugged right in to my monitor giving me decent video quality. Gold Plated gives it the extra durability for the price. As most monitors have a DVI port, this is compatible for a majority of the screens.
