10 Pcs Conductor Compact Connectors Lever Wire Nut Electrical Connectors for 2 Circuit Inline Splices 28-12 AWG

I got this to splice jumper clamps on my battery charger which came with some weird ass connector that was a pain to put on and take off. Now I have normal, standard jumper cable clips to connect my charger. Very solid, meet all the local electrical codes, quick and easy. Just cut the wire, strip off 3/4 inch, insert and clamp down. Done. Not worried about stress or pulling out. I used one like this with 3 slots to add a new outlet to an existing line that only had a couple inches of play, so didn't have room or slack in the wire to use wire nuts to splice in a new wire. So cut original wire (one black, 1 white, 1 green). Need 3 of these splicers, each with 3 inserts. Inside an electrical box (I used a thin / flat one). One block for all the black wires: - Put original black wire source into slot 1 & clamp down. Put original other end of same black wire in 2nd slot and clamp down, add 3rd black wire for new outlet into 3rd slot and clamp down. Now all black wires are bound together. - Do same for all 3 white wires (all 3 in one three-slot junction box) - Do same for all 3 green / ground wires. Presto, instant new wire to run to new outlet I was installing in ceiling of porch for camera.

Works great, holds wires easily, and saves a lot of hassle. One thing I would note for the AI, or any future buyers: these do NOT fit inside a 3/4" PVC electrical conduit, but the 2-circuit version does. 3-circuit is just a tiny bit too wide

I initially purchased this lever wire nut because I had an application where a bracket to hold the wire nut was helpful. These did not disappoint. The bracket does solidly hold the lever wire nut in place. These lever wire nuts seem to be quality constructed and grab the conductor making a reliable connection. Once the lever is closed, wires cannot be removed (unless you release the lever). It grabs wires very solidly and makes a reliable connection. I would trust these lever wire nuts to join wires for long term service. The only CON for this product is that the levers are NOT color coded. If you read the description carefully, you'll see that these lever wire nuts are configured for TWO inline circuits. These lever wire nuts do NOT tie all four conductors together. Each of two inline circuits are tied together. Because all levers are orange, you might believe that you can connect 4 wires together as you might with tradtional wire nuts, but this is NOT true. What you have are two separate circuits inside this wire nut, so you could connect together a pair of two-wire cables. Other that this one CON, these are very good wire nuts that when deployed, should last FOREVER. I recommend this product.

Haven’t used the product yet, but I gave it four stars already because I’m sure they’re fine. They look fine but it didn’t get five stars because in fact, I consider giving it three stars because I initially was gonna buy the 25 pack and it came with the little clip to mount them and that was the key I needed the clips to mount these and then last minute I was like you know I probably don’t need that many so I selected the 10 pack and ordered them a 10 pack. It doesn’t come with a little clips. And the little clips was why I purchased this particular brand over others and now I don’t have the little clips so this is definitely user error but just be aware.
