The organizational compartments are great and there are tons of pockets. It is a bit on the small side for my needs but since it is a top-zip, you can leave it open a bit and fit more items in the bag. In terms of aesthetics, the bag looks great and looks very similar to this picture. I expected a lighter color and more of a true cognac. However, I would describe this as a deep red or burgundy. The canvas on the inside is tough and great from a strength standpoint. However, if you carry a laptop with you I would recommend getting a separate case for it since the canvas may scratch the laptop. Overally, I really like the bag and would recommend it.
