Works great! A little pricey but it is nice

I am a “party cyclist” and carry 3 JBL speakers. 2 x pulse 4 and 1 x extreme 3 (hangs off the handle bars) and I’ve ridden the entire 2024 season with these and they are great! Pro - Crazy durable acrylic! I’ve had one of the pulse 4 speakers fall off my mount while riding over 20 mph on paved trail…it bounced and skidded for a hundred feet and barely any scratches. The pulse 4 fits some water bottle holders (Velcro strap kind but not normal ones). Battery on JBL in general is fantastic. I can do a 8 hr, 100 mile party ride and still have about 10% left. You don’t get that with speakers like megaboom! light show is super fun and a requirement for me! Light show colors and patterns can be customized. I ride in the rain and snow and no issues ever! Cons - When connected in party mode with my extreme 3, you get a basic EQ setting and I can’t use my custom heavy bass settings for my extreme 3. App is a pain, can’t turn on and off like a megaboom. And connecting my speakers in party mode can take 1-2 minutes. Which sucks when you are jumping on your bike after leaving a beer stop with 30 other people bc you have to use so much extra time before hand. In the end the cons are no biggie and the speakers sound, look, and battery are awesome!

My husband loves his new speaker! We had seen the larger version of the speaker at our son’s house and really liked the sound. I ordered this right then! It’s perfect for our boat.

This waterproof Bluetooth speaker has been a great addition for both indoor and outdoor use. We have it outside under the gazebo for late nights around the fireplace table for ambiance. The 40W output delivers strong, clear sound with plenty of volume to fill a room or patio, and the audio stays crisp even at higher levels. Pairing was quick and easy, and it reconnects automatically after the first setup, which makes it very convenient for everyday use. I haven’t experienced any connection issues so far. The 360-degree LED light display is a standout feature. The lights wrap all the way around the speaker and cycle through colors, creating a really nice ambient effect, especially in the evening. It adds a fun touch without being overwhelming. The waterproof design is another big plus, making it great for use in the bathroom, by the pool, or outdoors without worrying about splashes. Battery life has also been impressive—I’ve been getting close to the advertised 12 hours on a full charge. A couple of things to keep in mind: • It’s a bit larger than ultra-portable speakers • Bass is good, but still not as deep as larger, more expensive systems Overall, this is a solid, easy-to-use speaker with strong sound, excellent battery life, and a really cool lighting feature. I’d definitely recommend it if you want something portable with both performance and visual appeal.

I wanted a replacement shower speaker, and boy does this exceed any of my expectations! Not only is it waterproof, has great sound quality, and is beyond perfect for my shower, but I want to use it everywhere! Connects easily via Bluetooth, and starts up and powers down quickly. All the button features are very easy to use, and I even used the JBL app to connect it and change the lights and such and I haven't had any issues with the app so far. The light features are very cool, and even on the lowest brightness setting (can be adjusted via the app), it is VERY bright. For such a small, rechargeable speaker, the bass is VERY strong and the best of any speaker I own. The battery life is quite long -- I've used it a few times now at length and I haven't even needed to charge it once yet. My only issue with it is there's no way to go back a song. There's a way to go to the next song or fast forward, but no way to rewind or go back to a song by pressing a button on the speaker. That's a really minor issue though, and doesn't bother me much.

I love it. I was inspired to get one as I was loan one by my Sis on my recent trip to the US. I love the design, the feel and the base is superb. Keeps playing in my room at night once I am home from work. Connects very easily to blue tooth thus making listening to music fun

Before anything I would suggest not to use it inside the shower or out in the rain because once water gets on the speaker, all you're gonna hear is loud pops until the grill is dried off. Honestly, the sound quality is really weird because it will drastically change depending on where you place it. I personally only use mine in the bathroom up on a shelf and it's distributing the sound PERFECTLY without sending all of the vibrations straight onto the actual shelf like it usually happens or like on hollow surfaces. The bass on the bottom hits me much clearer and the tweater is bouncing the sound off the ceiling, without it sounding muffled. Out of everything, what impressed me the most definitely has to be the battery life. I use this thing for 30 minutes every single day at 3/4 volume and with reactive lights and I think I went for like a whole month without needing to charge it. I don't know if it gives you a warning when the battery gets low but that's probably because it hasn't gone low enough. It does sound poor at higher volumes than that but with how loud it gets, I think you'd be fine with 3/4. I'm considering getting another one to try that multi-pairing thing.

Pretty cool stuff. It’s worth the current price 100-130$ the speaker is portable and pretty good sound quality. It’s a bit heavy but overall easy to carry and lasts pretty long. I suggest a carrying case :P

The JBL Pulse 4 is your ideal choice is you want to add a little bit of theatrics to your music experience. With a plethora of lighting options along with rich sound quality, I was quite happy with my purchase. At its price point, there are worthy competitors which offer better sound and battery life but then again, it boils down to personal preference. The sound stage on this speaker is quite good and makes for a great accessory to your room or even for those small gatherings. I must note that this speaker is a fingerprint magnet and that you ought to use a soft cloth to wipe the surface from time to time. Would 100% recommend.

Rapidamente, si la recomiendo. Si prefieres fidelidad en lugar de ruido esta es tu bocina. Ej. Una Megaboom se escucha más fuerte pero la Pulse 4 se escucha mejor. Los bajos son increibles, separa muy bien las frecuencias. En contra podría poner el precio, pero la bocina se siente de muy buena calidad, no le pide nada a una BOSE revolve. El peso si es bastante, no recomendaría traerla de allá para acá por que parece que si se puede dañar. La luz al principio es muy llamativa pero con el paso de los días ya ni siquiera le pones atención. Eso si, cuando tienes invitados en casa todos quieren verla cambiar de color y es super llamativa, todo mundo quiere agarrarla y la llenan de manchas de dedos. La batería es buena peeero obvio no dura lo que dice, pero nada diferente a otras. Dura menos que una charge 3 y mucho menos que las UE boom 2 y Megaboom. En fin lo pondría así; La Megaboom se escucha más fuerte, mucho más, pero la Pulse 4 tiene mucho mejor sonido. Pero la UE boom2 y la megaboom son muy resistentes, lo digo por experiencia, se me han caido varias veces y siguen trabajando como si nada. Otra cosa que me gusto es que es USB-C peeeero no trae cargador, ya sé que puedo usar el de mi celular, pero por el precio debería incluir un cargador y no nada más el cable. Ah y no puede usarse como altavoz así que no puedes contestar llamadas, ya sé que no es gran cosa, pero yo si lo he usado, he contestado llamadas desde la bocina como las UE Boom 2 sobre todo cuando tienes las manos mojadas o simplemente para que todos hablen con alguien que llama.
