The installation kit is a must have for installing the brackets. Makes drilling and routing shelves so easy. Even the screw holes line up for routing template after using the drilling template. Expensive, but worth it. The brackets are very well made, sturdy and precise.

I ordered two of these brackets in different sizes and purchased a build kit with one of the brackets. The brackets are sturdy and should hold the advertised weights with ease without any sagging. All of the components of the build kit are great value if you don’t already have something similar, and the router template really simplified the install. The custom drill template also makes it near impossible to misalign your holes. I was also very impressed with customer service. I ordered the wrong size for one of my brackets and customer service got back to me and shipped another bracket within a day. Highly recommend and will be using these brackets again for similar projects in the future.

Easy to hang, level and on studs Hard to get the holes in the receiving material just right This appears to be hand made. I love the idea, but it seems the mounting posts walked a bit when they were being welded from the heat. Maybe it was a newer employee that didn't know how to keep it from warping and walking? The integrity of the welds looks good. The mount points are evenly spaced, but, the ends of the mounts, which goes into the receiving material first, are not aligned or evenly spaced. That meant that the first holes in drilled were not wide enough. It was snug but would not slide all the way in. So, I had to oversize the holes in the mantel I was mounting on this, making it a little loose fitting.. It's secure and can beat a lot of weight, it just took some rework that shouldn't have been necessary. Overall though I am happy with it.

Simple instructions and flawless execution with this kit. The wall bracket makes it nearly impossible to not find a stud and is super strong. I was going to put a pin in to lock the shelf in but there was no need because it held it on fine. The drill jig makes it so easy to line everything up with just a couple of measurements. The counter sink jig and router bit worked great with minimal setup. I loved the kit start to finish. All future shelves I will only have to buy the wall braket.

The best floating shelf brackets on the market. I have been using these for years & won't put up a floating shelf without one. Excellent product! Excellent system! Super strong & sturdy! Beautifully made! The build kit is amazing - super clear & easy to use system! Kit has very high quality drill bit, router bit, drill guid, & router template. Great value for the money! It took me a while to buy the whole build kit & it's worth every penny. -- Buying a build kit that has posts every 12" allows you to buy longer brackets & cut them down to custom sizes, like for this narrow kitchen wall between windows I'm doing right now. -- Just bought one of the extra large brackets for a fireplace mantel.
