Great mini iron
So far love everything about this mini iron for doing fabric collage. The stand easily hooks to it and stays on and works very well. I have been using on medium setting and it is very hot and works beautifully. Cannot speak to durability as just started using it but so far most impressed. On and off controls handy and easy to use.

Love my Mini Iron II
I was torn between buying the regular Mini Iron and the Mini Iron II because I wasn't really sure if I would need the extra attachments that come with the Mini Iron II. However, I'm very glad I bought the one with the adapter because I have discovered that I do indeed need the accessories! I use my MIni Iron II for small projects like 1/4" seams on patchwork quilts and for ironing down binding strips. I hated using my big, bulky iron before because I was constantly burning my fingers or scorching them with the steam. I have yet to burn myself since using this. I'm purchasing the bigger head because I think it will come in handy for navigating the larger patchwork pieces once they are seamed together. The only drawbacks I've had so far is that the high setting is VERY hot, more suitable for using the hot knife than for ironing cotton and the iron takes a while to reach temperature. It's also notable that the small clover stand that comes with the iron doesn't have very good grip and it's a constant struggle to keep it on the ironing board. I usually have to put it on a work table beside me, which worries me because I have small children. This would make the larger cooling stand a good purchase, but for safety reasons should be the one they include with the iron. All in all, a good tool to have for quilting and I'm sure for countless other projects.

Works great. Problem w/ plastic stand.
Works quite well. The high setting is REALLY hot! Burn your skin hot!! I use it for spot heating collage quilting. Use pressing paper over your project so the hot head doesn’t pick up adhesive. And, the stand it comes with a plastic stand. Don’t use it. The plastic melted on the iron head and ruined it. I’ll need to replace the head. Use a silicone mat to set it on instead. Sort of a dumb component (plastic) with high heat.

Very handy for small pressing needs, excellent instructions.
This is a very useful little tool. Bought for an applique project. Thorough instructions came with the tool. I have not pursued alternate heads. Works best for cotton on high.

Clover mini iron
Okay I wasn't sure about this when I bought it. At first I couldn't get it to heat and got a little frustrated with it. But eventually I did notice on the little button on the cord it has the words "on" and "off" now imagine that, when I turned it I turned it all the way around and it went back to "off" unnoticed by me. Now I know this is a must for any one who sews, embroiders and especially quilts. You need this iron as much as your needles and threads. You do have to be careful when you use it on high. It will melt plastic and it will blister if you touch it. But with three different heat levels you will find one that suits you. It comes with a small holder for the iron but I prefer to use a coffee cup to hold it away from me and anything it can melt. You also get a small screw driver and can order different tips for it. I ordered the larger one and can iron anything a larger Iron will do. It is great for fusible tape. Most Clover products are great, I can't say all cause I haven't used them all --- yet.

A great little mini iron.
I use this mini-iron in my quilting and it works terrific. It has various temps and works very well. It's perfect for all my sewing needs that work better for small projects.

Great find
I have to say I wasn't sure this would do all it said. I had to press a logo on a small item and this heats up to the temperature of a heat press. The small surface worked perfectly for what I needed and I love the fact that it is small and portable. I was able to enjoy the outside and still work. I like the price point.

Works but dangerous design of product
It takes a long time to heat up so it is hard to judge at first which heat setting to use. Light tells you it’s on, not that it is ready. The highest setting is molten. It worked on medium for attaching waterproof seaming tape to a raincoat, so it worked for my purpose. It’s just a dangerous design. Very easy to burn yourself on the unit (strange cover only protects so far since the way the cord works, the unit moves in unexpected directions). The worst part is the stand. It does not in any way work as pictured - holding the unit in place without moving. It’s flimsy and flops around unexpectedly. The metal on the stand gets hot too so it burned me as well when I took the unit off the stand and the stand bounced up and hit me. I’m actually shocked how badly a product from a known sewing supply vendor is designed. Fix the cord swivel and design a stand that actually stays in place and this would be a good product.

Handy little iron when using small applique pieces. Just started to make a cover for it. Its also useful to be able to change the head for narrow items.

This mini iron is good for me, I was using it to iron small Heat transfer vinyl, the size of it perfectly for my job. Furthermore it has a cover so you will never burn your hand, you have to waiting 5 mins for the temperature up to 200c
