Is this compatible with model ch-240 (ng) asme?

yes, This part is compatible with that model. I installed it in my water heater , fits and plugs in fine. The only problem I had was with the heater set up for on demand use, it had problems running on a small appliance...AKA bathroom sink. It did fine with larger appliance ( bathtub). When I set up my heater on recirculate it operates fine.
