I'm so glad I found this flexible moulding/trim. It worked great for our curved stairs. Perfect if you are able to paint it.

flexible transition to smooth corners
I have a step made of shaped concrete which is covered with tile pieces. After replacing a worn out carpet with new wood flooring, I had an awkward gap that would have ordinarily required a lot of effort to construct an attractive transition. Instead, I used this material, which looks great and was much easier to use than any other approach. After fitting the material to the corner between the step and the floor, I cleaned the tile, applied a generous bead of liquid nails to the vertical face of the material, placed it and held it there for 24 hours with about a dozen weight lifting plates (10-25 lb). I needed to fill some small gaps along the top due to minor uneven surfaces in the tiles with a little bit of wood putty, but now it looks excellent. I haven't even gotten around to staining it, and it still looks great. After 6+ months installed, this adhesive approach is holding up well.

Good solution for fireplace
My contractor suggested it to me. Found this best solution for the fireplace area. You can stain it to any matching color.

Brilliant product!!!!
I was replacing the tile in the RV (2008 Itasca Sunrise) and pulled the old cove molding out. It was gross, and I decided to replace it. I ordered this and when it came, it certainly needed to be stained. The molding took stain wonderfully. And the installation was a dream! I used the tape to hold it in place and tacked it in with brads, then filled the holes with putty and a tough of stain. The trim looks fantastic! Do not be put off by the color of the product, it does stain or paint very well!

Not flexible enough
It is quite stiff. We got this to go around rounded bottom stair with diameter of about 12 inches. Was very hard to do, doesn’t flex easily enough and “rolls” so very hard to contour. For less curvy sections works okay. Holds paint not too bad, but harder to paint than wood

Perfect for tricky spots.
I had a few area that were tricky angles that were a nightmare. After searching, I found this and it worked beautifully. I was able to cut fairly easily (it is flexible but not soft) and even shave area with a knife when needed. My cove molding was being painted so once installed, you can not tell it is any different then the wood pieces used.
