This thing is as tall as my 3 foot toddler. Pretty sure it’s taller than 19 inches, pretty sure whoever was sent something that was actually 19 inches was sent the wrong item and needs to reach out to Amazon.

Does this have screws that anchor the base? Do the screws come in contact with the floor, potentially causing scratching?

There are two large screws. One screws the two roped sections together and one that screws the scratching post to the base. No screws have contact with the floor

I have been waiting for this since may. it’s now the end of july. it won’t let me cancel the order or get my money back. what do i do??

I would try to return. Its completely hollow covered in carpet and staples. My kitty got on and it fell right on him. But the base was still on the ground.

Is the square base one solid piece or two?
