Good deal, fast shipping!!
Awesome! Came exactly as described in full plastic wrap and undamaged. This is the exact American Heart Association PALS manual needed for the class. The best part is I ordered this on January 9th and the shipping estimate date was January 17th but I actually got the book on January 10th. That's fast!! Now if your trying to teach yourself PALS then this book is not the most user friendly but it contains the information needed and is required for the class and certification. I did better organizing the information myself.

Mandatory re-cert
This is my least favorite re-cert course necessary for my job. I liked the new format in the book and found the key point page tabs and algorithym card very helpful. I will say the lecture and hands-on megacode course through NCTI helped bring everything all together and recommend them if they have courses in your state.

Good Book
Since the healthcare facility runs out of these books to loan out - there are so many of us.... I bought my own. It does help you prep for your certification and re-cert.

If you need PALS your gonna buy it
Teaches you how to save babies and kidos from dying. Yeah it's that important. PALS is actually probably the best written Life support book I've read. I would say text follows a logical flow and format, It's easy to stay on track, and it really does help you save lives.

This was a good deal; and my "used" book also came with sections marked off for super easy reading. Would recommend to all.

excellent, though too expensive
Textbook required for son's EMS class. Great book, but waaaaay too expensive. Textbooks are a racket. I find this to be the case everywhere. I find a book of general interest, and it is triple the cost of another similar one if it was/is a textbook.

The book however was in good condition as promised
I did not realize that this was not the most current book, so some of the guidelines have changed. That was my mistake as it clearly states this is not the most current edition. The book however was in good condition as promised.
