Fantastic Classroom Science Tool - Still Going Strong After Three Years
I’ve used the Steve Spangler Energy Stick in my classroom with my students for three years now, and it has been fantastic. It’s a good, hands-on way to demonstrate open and closed circuits, human conductivity, and electron flow. Even after years of frequent use by multiple classes, it still works brilliantly. A durable, engaging, and highly effective teaching aid that I can not recommend enough to fellow educators.

A great toy to get kids interested in science
This is present for my grandson he hasn't played with it yet, but Grandpa is having fun with it. I have been playing with it and it's hard to put down. There are a lot of different things to experiment with. I think my grandson will love it. I sure do.

Fun way to teach about circuits
Fun way to teach kids (and adults) about how a circuit works. We had some previously that lasted quite a long time in a preschool setting before light / sound got weak or broken.

Awesome!!!
This is the best toy I've ever purchased. It will snap kids out of a bad mood and gets them interested in science. It will respond to a circle of 20 students. At first it didn't work until the students figured out that one of them was wearing gloves. Once they took them off, the circuit was completed and the stick light up.

Great for a demonstrating electricity!
My high school students enjoyed experimenting this. It was a great demo of electricity. We made a large circle in the classroom and touched fingers and made it light up and make sounds. Then, we brought it near a plasma ball and the lights started flashing without even touching it. The students thought it was creepy! It was good introduction to electric fields in the air.
