Did the job working great so far

Bought two parts, watched some YouTube videos, repaired my dryer for under $20. I did take photos of the original parts still in place on the back of my dryer before disconnecting anything, just to be sure of what I was doing. Hardest part was removing and replacing the back of the dryer in very limited space. The repacement parts fit a variety of dryers and luckily, mine was one of the series.

Worked as expected. Used a multi-meter to find original fuse had blown. I see some reviews stating it worked for only a short time and then failed. My opinion, You should check into why this fuse blew in the first place. Since it only blows if dryer becomes overheated and Yes it is a one time use fuse, it is not a self resetting heat circuit breaker. I had to purchase this item because one of my children purchased an older home and the vent for dryer was never cleaned, hence 4" pipe and only 2" hole due to years of lint build up. This lead to poor air flow causing cloths to not dry properly and the eventual overheating of heat box, hence the device to prevent a fire, blew as it should. I will also assume the reason the fuse is not re-settable is the fact, there was a reason it blew and a qualified technician should be contacted to see why. And for the love of GOD, Please DO NOT use a piece of wire to override this safety device.

The only thing I didn't like about it is the fact I received it 3 days later than I was supposed to. The part repaired my dryer and the wife was back in business. That's all that matters. I only gave it 3 stars for durability because I've only had the part a short and only time will tell about it's durability.

Good for whirlpool cabrio dryer

This was nonfunctional when it arrived. I replaced the one in my dryer with this, but it still didn't work. This led me to getting a full kit to replace the heating element and fuses one by one. The heating element still didn't turn on. Then I replaced this thermal fuse with the one from the kit and the heating element worked.

It fit perfectly and Laundry is back.

Direct fit for my Maytag dryer. Heater stopped working because the original was stuck open. This part got it going again

The thermostat worked as described and my 30 year old clothes dryer is working like new now as I cleaned out the lint chute when I replaced the thermostat.
