Must have!
So glad I purchased this book. It is packed full of great information that helps expand my knowledge and understanding as I reread my way through the Bible. The timelines, overviews of each book, proofs of the Bible, 100 prayers, etc. enrich my time reading the Bible. I love the sprial binding, the layout of all the pages, charts and tables, the images/drawings, the pull out timelines, even the smooth glossy paper. Well worth the money and should be something everyone uses when studying the Bible.

This is an awesome study tool!
This book is truly a treasure trove of interesting, useful information. No matter why you're reading the Bible, this book helps put things into context, and that includes physical, historical and spiritual context. The Rose Book of Bible Charts, Maps, and Time Lines was dropped off at my door about 2 hours ago and I couldn't wait to open it. I took the time to look through the entire book - yes, every page - and I am delighted with my purchase. Although I was raised Catholic and I am familiar with many of the stories found in the Bible, I'm new to reading the Bible. During my Confirmation into the Church, our Bishop asked this question: 'When can you stop studying the Bible?'. My eager hand shot up in the air and he called on my. Innocently, I replied 'Never!'. He chuckled indulgently and told me that I could stop now. I was crushed, and a certain spark left me. I felt that he was telling me that the Church would be my guide and I could leave it up to them to intercede on my behalf. While I realize I'm loading a LOT into that single moment, it's taken me years to read the Bible. Not something I'm proud of, but there we are. So, diving back into reading the Bible, it can be hard to follow the sequence of events, the (seemingly endless) genealogies, and the places with names that are foreign to me. This book helps sort out all of it, and in a format that is easy to access, it literally brings the Bible to life! Needless to say, I highly recommend this book.

(10) STAR BOOK
Review: Rose Book of Bible Charts, Maps, and Timelines The Rose Book of Bible Charts, Maps, and Timelines is one of the most impressive Bible reference books I have ever purchased. The level of detail, the clarity of the organization, and the wide range of information all condensed into one volume make this book absolutely outstanding. It covers characters, maps, timelines, charts, and historical insights with incredible precision. Everything is laid out in a way that is easy to follow and deeply engaging. I bought a copy for myself and was so taken with it that I immediately ordered four more to give as gifts. One of those copies went to a friend who loved it just as much. The book is reasonably priced considering the immense value it offers, and the ring binder format is a major bonus. The pages lie flat, stay open exactly where you want them, and never get bent or warped. It makes studying so much easier and more enjoyable. This book is also a wonderful tool for Christians who want to share the Lord with others but are unsure how to start that conversation without seeming overly intense. Simply giving someone this book invites curiosity all on its own. The beauty, clarity, and thoughtful design naturally draw people in and encourage them to explore Scripture more deeply. It opens doors gently and respectfully. Whether you are a pastor, a priest, a Bible teacher, or simply someone who loves God and wants to grow in understanding, this book is remarkable. It suits beginners and experienced Bible scholars alike and inspires a genuine desire to learn more about the Word of God. I highly recommend the Rose Book of Bible Charts, Maps, and Timelines. It is truly one of the best resources I have ever added to my library.

Perfect!
I’m really pleased with the Rose Book of Bible Charts, Maps and Time Lines — it’s become one of my favorite Bible study resources. This book is packed with clear, colorful charts, detailed maps, and helpful timelines that make complex biblical history and geography so much easier to understand. Whether I’m preparing a lesson, studying on my own, or teaching others, the visuals and organized layouts help me see connections I’d never noticed before. The fold-out charts and full-color illustrations are especially useful for visual learners and add a lot of value beyond plain text. I also appreciate how it ties historical events together with Scripture in a way that’s easy to reference and remember. This has been a great addition to my home library and has genuinely deepened my understanding of the Bible’s timeline and context. Highly recommended for anyone looking to make their study time more engaging and insightful!

Excellent overview of many important topics
The entire book is full of colorful easy-to-view timelines, maps and charts. I found all of them to be informative and helpful. There are great sections that provide an overview of many (most?) world religions and many Christian denominations. Also a great explanation of the doctrine of the trinity. Then there is an awesome overview of Islam where I learned a great deal. (I did not know Islam accepts some of the Bible, but dismisses it because it is corrupted and therefore the Quran, not corrupted, is supreme. My complaints and reason for only four stars are as follows. 1) The spiral binding is too small of a ring. It is difficult to turn the pages without folding them. I found that opening the book completely, putting the front and back covers together helped. Which means you must have the space (without knocking over your coffee) and use both hands to open completely, fold back, turn the page and then lay flat again. Perhaps this is a personal problem, but I could not turn the pages like a normal book. 2) There are no notes or references for where the information was gathered from. So there is no way to verify or get more detail if you want to know where the information about a denomination or religion came from. 3) The NET translation is referenced on page 23, but omitted on pages 24 and 27. It is also incorrectly referred to as available online only. (Perhaps this was accurate at the time of this printing.) I have a wonderful hardcover version that was very affordable. It is a great translation and with the notes an excellent study Bible. In the notes the translators provide the reasoning for using the English word(s) they chose and what other options would also be possible. You can easily make your own determination if you agree with their choice. Bottom line this book is an excellent addition to my library. I am sure I will be coming back to it often as a reference book.

Navigating the Bible's Past with Ease
Well, let me tell you, when my wife mentioned needing a tool to understand the geographical context of the Bible better, I was a bit skeptical. I mean, who needs maps to read the Bible, right? But, you know, I decided to give it a shot, and I must admit, this Rose Book of Bible Charts, Maps, and Time Lines has been a game-changer. Basically, every time we delve into a passage and encounter an unfamiliar place or region, we can flip through this book and find it in a jiffy. It's like having a personal tour guide through the ancient world of the Bible. The maps are well-detailed and easy to read, even for someone who's not the most visual learner. I remember when we were discussing Paul's travels throughout the Mediterranean region. With this book, we could pinpoint his stops, see the distances between cities, and even understand the routes he might have taken. It's not just about finding the places; it's about seeing the connections and the vastness of the territories involved. The charts and timelines are also incredibly helpful. They provide a clear overview of events, timelines, and the relationships between different periods and regions. It's like having a chronological map of the Bible's history, which makes it so much easier to grasp the context and significance of the stories and teachings. In my experience, this book has enhanced our personal Bible study and made it more engaging and enlightening. Thanks to the visual aids provided by this book, it's like discovering a new world within the pages of the Bible, one that's accessible and comprehensible. So, if you're looking for a way to deepen your understanding of the Bible's historical and geographical context, I highly recommend the Rose Book of Bible Charts, Maps, and Timelines. It's a serious tool for Bible study, and it's been a real blessing in our home.

An invaluable Bible study companion
Rose Publishing's style is to mainly use tables with rows and columns, rather like an Excel spreadsheet, so you can see at a glance the points being made on a particular topic. But there are other features as well. There are fold outs for Biblical chronologies, and the genealogy of Jesus. There are illustrated sections in non-tabular format on various topics, such as Noah's Ark and Herod's temple. There is a section of maps of the Biblical lands, sometimes overlaid with modern political boundaries. And much more. It's written from a conservative Christian viewpoint, but is a useful reference even if that is not your position. There is a section on "Christianity, Cults & Religions", with comparisons between Biblical Christianity and various other religions and sects; comparisons between the main Christian denominations; and a more in-depth comparison between Christianity and Islam. It's a large book and not comfortable to hold in your hands, so it's best to have a desk or table to place it on. It's ring bound so the pages lie flat. In my view this is an invaluable Bible study companion for older children and adults, and it's in a visually appealing format.
