Bugaboo Backpacker, Nesting Cook Set, Superior Backcountry Cookware Since 1985

This cook kit is a good compromise between some of the Pinnacle sets from GSI and the Bugaboo Base Camper, which I had previously owned. The only difference between this kit and the Base Camper is that there are two less bowls/mugs, no plates, and one less pot. But for two people, this kit is perfect. I also own the  GSI Outdoors Crossover Kitchen Kit , and previously I didn't understand why the case for that kit was shaped like a half circle. Now that I own this kit, I know why. That kit drops right into this kit next to the cups/bowls. You can get the plate set for about $8 on Amazon, and you can drop those right into this kit - save yourself $10 or so if you don't need all the extra pots and bowls.Just be careful with the lid, as it is not designed to take direct heat from a reflector. That can melt it.In short, this kit works great for camping and backpacking (it's also nice to have if you just go for a picnic).

Does its job as advertised. A bit bulky for backpacking, but I throw it in my truck when doing trips rafting trips up in Maine. I bought another pot gripper and a compact scraper as suggested.

This set was invaluable on our camping trip along with a few other camping items. Food was simple and fast to prepare and clean up was as easy as it gets. I would fry up some eggs in minutes over a fire, serve them without any sticking, and have it washed in a minute. This set best combines with a good kitchen set to really make use of it but adding the extra accessories until you have a complete outdoor setup makes for a smooth enjoyable food experience.

We love this cookset for camping. Stacks up for efficient packing. Excellent space-saving but still serves four people. The pans and pots are sturdy, the colored plates and cups make it easy for everyone to claim their dishes.

Good cook set it you have a couple of people going with you. It is a little heavy, bust still a good cookset. Used it on a MSR micro rocket stove and it was stable on it.

Great product! Easy cleanup - non-stick coating is a huge time-saver! Love how it all fits together easily, too. Perfect for car camping.

Bought this as a gift for the kids. They love them as they do quite a bit of camping. Need to buy some plates to go with this though.

My friends had this set for years and they are bomb proof! They clean up easy, can cook/feed 3 men and pack away easy. It’s why I bought this set.

Ordered a set of camping pots with plates, bowls and cups according to the photo on seller’s site. It arrived missing plates, one set of the pot/lid and 2 cups. Seller response has been good but realized that the photo posted was not for the set they were selling. Awaiting a return.
