I recently bought a house that had some hard core cigar / tobacco stains on the walls and ceilings. I researched how to get rid of the sticky gross stains and sugar soap kept coming up in cleaning recommendations. I’m not sure why it’s called sugar soap since it doesn’t resemble sugar at all- I was thinking it would be like sugar scrub, but it’s not. Regardless of the sweetness of the soap’s name this stuff is a real brute on stains! I can’t believe how well this stuff worked! I used a flat microfiber mop and diluted sugar soap to remove the stains. It only took a few swipes and it was gone! I’m going to do a second pass to completely remove the stains, but wow easy peasey way to get rid of the ugly stains. I’m recommending this to anyone that needs to get rid of stains caused by cigar smoke!

I cleaned all my walls from the living room with the soap, let it dry and then I apply the paint. Big difference, my walls look like a professional paint them. Very nice!

I was led to believe that thos would be good to removed dried wall paper glue off paneling. No good! For general cleaning, 16.00 a bottle, and u supposed to use 1/3 of a bottle to a gallon of water! I can do better by going to the dollar store!

I diluted it with water as instructed, and cleaned my walls prior to painting. It's a bit expensive but worked great, even washed off some of the old paint in some areas. Will use the remaining for tough to clean spots around the house.
