Photoshop Elements 2020 For Dummies

I bought another authoritative text from Amazon on Photoshop Elements, but it did not begin to compare to this text when it came to step by step instructions. This was especially true when working with Layers. Even so, I had to watch several You Tube videos to fully understand the process when using Layers. I have been a photographer for over 50 years, and have read dozens of texts on photo processes and techniques and this is the best one.

Photoshop Elements 2020 For Dummies is a great, easy to read and understand, book like all of the "Dummies" series I have read over the years. It gives you easy to follow step by step procedures to get your photo's just the way you want them. Great software and great book to learn it.

Photoshop was delivered on time and performed as I thought it would. It was very much like my old photo editing software with a couple of added features that were easy to use.

This book covers the related software (purchased separately) very well. If one is a new to Photoshop Elements 2020, then this book (like any Dummies book) will get you up and running in no time. I had Photoshop Elements 2015 and decided it was high time to get a newer version. No regrets on the software and no regrets in getting this book.

Photoshop elements 2020 (the program) is so hard to use and stinks so bad that i had to buy this manual to get anywhere with it. There is nothing user friendly about the program itself. The only reason I rate this book low is that it tries to make the awful Photoshop Elements 2020 tolerable. This book would be more useful if it simply said PAGE ONE "Don't by Photoshop Elements 2020. It is klunky, hard to use, has limited edit capability, and will crash your computer. get a different photo editor program. PAGE TWO: The end."

It has alot of information

I haven't tried to use the video yet but my exterior package was totally open, slit open at the top. Inside the DVD box was also open. I will be in touch if I find damage or defect. The book is fine.

Decent enough book for dummies but if you are like me a dummy with photshop when it says use a certian tool it would be nice if a picture of the tool you are looking for was there. Or if an index of the pictures of tools was included as it assumes you know what they look like.

After using dummies books for some time I was very disappointed with this one too much time spent on general photography and very little on explaining how to use photoshop elements 2020

I am not a complete idiot I bought this book to show me how to work with Layers. I know the principle but not the practice. It was impossible to follow the instructions so I am returning the book.
