They Can't All Be Zingers: Best Of

Of all the alternative bands I listened to back in the '90s, Primus seemed to slip through the cracks with the exception of two songs, "My Name Is Mud" and "Winona's Big Brown Beaver". I would watch the music videos whenever they aired on MTV and couldn't help but fall in love with them. Until now, I didn't have anything by Primus. Not only does this compilation contain the two aforementioned songs, the other 14 are also great. A must-have for any Primus fan. I received it as described earlier than the ETA. Great job as usual.

Packed well, disc plays with no issues

Chronological "hits" package from one of the strangest bass playing front man bands in the business and by the business I do mean the industry. Funky syncopated and heavy in the extreme. The last 3 or 4 tracks are unlistenable to me. But the earlier stuff is righteous. Ive listened to this now everyday for 4 days. Never owned a Primus album/cd until now. Pretty great.

Primus was and always has been a mainstay of my music library from the time they released Sailing the Seas of Cheese. You cannot go wrong with this collection of their most popular songs. With strange sounds, strange words and strange names these songs will grow like a proverbial wart on your mind eventually making you Les Claypools slave army bent on world domination. Well maybe not I just think Les is happy making a bit o cash. Great fun my 16 year old was intrigued and is now addicted to these strange sounds.

The product quality itself was great, and the album overall was fantastic, truly a testament to how awesome Primus are. Having said that, the only complaint I have isn't really with the product as a whole, but more the album. They really could've done better toward the end of the album, particularly with the song choice. It only had one song from Antipop, which is disappointing because there were some that could easily work for this album, particularly Lacquer Head. Other than that, it's excellent.

This is a lot of music from three dudes. I just received the CD this morning and I'm playing it through for the second time. It's giving my new Wharfedale speakers quite the workout. I love Primus, but dang they suck!

Such an awesome collection of Primus songs. A must for all fans and enthusiasts.
