My husband gifted this to me because he knew how much I enjoyed steamed milk. I started off using it for just that until I stirred in matcha powder one day with my milk and realized that it makes a perfectly foamy matcha latte. Since then, we've been adding scoops of other powered drinks (hot coco powder, cold brew coffee powder, etc.), and it works great. We use it everyday. We got it over 2 years ago. It also makes more traditional matcha acceptably well (with a water base) and saves the trouble of whisking. I'm sure my ancestors have mixed feeling about this, but there's a place and time for everything, so on most days, I let the machine do the work.

This thing just works. Makes nice frothed milk. Not exactly micro foam, but close. And it has a spin mode (without heat) which is nice for keeping the froth fresh if you are not yet ready to add it to the espresso. The interior has a non-stick finish that is really easy to clean. Reaching the frothing whisk is a little tough if your hands are large. I purchased my first automatic milk frother about 12 years ago from Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf. It worked really well, but after thousands of uses is falling apart. I tried three other replacements that were terrible (no froth). I kept patching up the original CB&TL model. I think I have finally found a replacement (but I am keeping the old one, just in case). UPDATE: Still 5 stars. I have purchased 3 more of these as gifts for my kids (adults). My daughters in law are both lactose intolerant, so they use oat milk. This frother makes a really nice foam with oat milk. My only wish is that the temperature setpoint was a little higher. But I can live with this.

I do not ever write negative reviews but this product makes me mad. I bought one and it worked great. Then after 8 months it just stopped working. But because it is a product that only exists on Amazon you can return it within 30 days no problem but after that - there is no one to even contact to stand behind their product. Just Amazon saying, " your past 30 days". So like a shmuck I bought another one. This one lasted 13 months and now this week it doesn't turn off. So if you are not standing over it watching like a hawk it will bubble over the sides and burn the milk. -- Seriously this product is not worth the aggravation.

I bought this for myself, for a Christmas present. This is a wonderful little product. I wish I had one 20 years ago. First, this thing is completely silent. it's very very quick -- 90 seconds. I use almond milk each day, which froths like a mountain. I've used whole and 2% milk and they both do fine. I just prefer almond. I've tried cashew milk, and it heats up nicely, but does not froth. I haven't tried coconut. either way... hot milk/cream in your coffee is a huge plus, since it doesn't cool down your cup right away. and the froth is great. sometimes, i sprinkle cinnamon on top and it truly looks like I went to Starbucks, but just saved $5. I use it 3-4 times a day. in the morning, and at night I make 'gold' milk (tumeric). this blends the spices and milk up great. it's non-stick, so its so easy to clean. I normally just fill it with warm water and let it sit on my counter until I'm ready to do dishes. I literally wipe it out and that is it I've never had to use the brush. Some reviews complain that it overflows. there is a marking inside to where to pour your milk. I go over that line a tad and have had no issues. it's a frother --- adding air and heat to the milk. it's going to rise in volume. that is the point! don't bash a product if instructions are not followed. I've never had any issues. Also, this is an electrical appliance, so do not submerge it in water. Only clean the inside. I've only had mine since Christmas, but using it multiple times a day. I'd buy it again, for sure!

The only missing feature is it does not beep when frothing is done! If you wait to long to pour the froth it starts to separate and become chunky. Keep an eye on it and pour immediately for the best results. I would definitely recommend this product.

My espresso frother died after 2 years of service and I needed a replacement. NYT wire cutter rated this product highly so I decided to give it a try … and I am delighted. This machine produces a super rich creamy foam, far better than the Nespresso machine… Highly recommended

I like this milk frother, and that it worked with small amounts, as my partner is not into coffee. But after a year and 5 month, the motor just stopped working. I troubleshot it as best I could but no luck. Seems like it should last longer than a year and 5 months.

Always overflows, even when filled below fill line. Never gets hot enough. Not worth it.

Purchased and tried it at least 3 times…….3% milk. Made enough froth for 2 cappuccino and it kept the foam . Great and would recommend for anyone who is contemplating the purchase

Only frothed half and half. tried 2% and it did not froth at all and I tried whipping cream and the foam collapsed within 30 seconds. The half and half frothed fairly well, but not great.
