Great quality and durable.
Great brlt perfect for my line of work as I work on vehicles all day and don't have to worry about scratching/ damaging the paint. Was a little upset the it started coming apart, but didn't realize i had purchased the belt about 3 years ago. Definitely got it's worth. Ordering another one today.

Everyone Should have one!
The original is better than the deluxe! Thinner, lighter and less stiff. The "rubber" coating on the ends is not grippy or obtrusive in any way. If you are having trouble deciding what version to get, go with the original Loopbelt. This is such a simple product there really isn't a whole lot to talk about. I actually bought the deluxeโ first because when my cell phone is in my hoodie pocket the screen would hit my belt buckle. I also work on my car a lot and this is cheap insurance for both situations. The velcro is fairly traditional with the exception that you have both "sides" of the velcro in one. The hook and loops are on both strips, so you can actually adhere one side to itself. This comes in handy if you have to undo the belt to use the bathroom as you can keep the ends out of your way. It is traditionally loud ripping velcro, though. Don't expect silent operation. The remaining bit of velcro strip that is not used will catch on some clothing. Mainly the stitching around the bottom of shirts as the threads catch on the hooks of the velcro. It's not a chronic issue but it happens occasionally. The velcro holds VERY strong. You can make it overly tight and try to push your gut out all you want, it's not gonna budge. You won't hear velcro ripping sounds throughout the day unless the end gets pulled. Great belt, i wear it every day.

The square cut ends are a little cumbersome to feed through your belt loops.
This is a really nice belt for the money. First of all there is no belt buckle to dig into your belly if you have a bubble belly like me. However, sometimes it is a real pain in the arse to get the belt through your belt loop. The ends of the belt are not tapered like every other belt I've ever had. They are square cut and they are dipped in some sort of hard'ish rubber which makes threading your belt challenging to say the least. The rubber coating keeps the belt from fraying or falling apart at the ends which is nice. It would just be way nicer if the ends were tapered. I tend to swear when I get frustrated and sometimes I swear a lot at this belt. The hook and loop closure holds very well. I've never had a problem with it "letting go under a load". Also, I have no problem getting the belt tight enough and if you happen to get it too tight, all you have to do is run your finger from inside to outside between the velcro areas and you can loosen it just a little without having to unhook it completely and trying again. All in all I would probably purchase this belt again, but I might try to cut a taper in the ends and then dipping them in Plastikote or Plastidip myself.

Best belt for contact dermatitis sufferers
When I use cheap belts with cheap pot metal buckles I get small itchy dermatitis like bumps on my tummy, so my wife got me this belt. For me It works well for the first 6 months. After that the hook and loop Velcro gets worn down or out and doesnโt grip as well anymore. Thatโs the only reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 starts. Iโm on my second one now, but for less than $15 itโs totally worth it, especially since it doesnโt make me break out. I tried a bunch of other belts before this as well. The ones that grab 2 loops of your pants and pull tight didnโt work and werenโt able to hold up my work pants. Edit- I bought a second belt, in October of โ24. The stitching of the hook and loop section began to fail within 2 months. I wrote a message to the company and they replaced the belt immediately no questions asked! Awesome customer service and Iโll continue to buy these.

Lasts only 4 years max
Bought just over 4 years ago. It is nice for airports- no metal. At first, I felt like it was much too long with too much overlap. Later that became necessary. It just does not hold well now even when I tuck the end in a belt loop to keep it pressed against the Velcro. I also cleaned out lint and fiber frequently.

Why did no one think of this before? So simple yet works great.
I have been wearing a Loopbelt daily for years. Obviously infinitely adjustable. Made of polypropylene (woven plastic). Recyclable. Can't be washed but doesn't get dirty. If you are like me and constantly adjusting size the stitching on the velcro tears and belt must be replaced every 2-3 years. If you are not constantly adjusting I'd imagine it will last forever. If you are at top end of size, or in between sizes, take next size UP. If you don't you may have a large part of the velcro showing which may or may not bother you. Two issues. 1. If you are out in public and need to adjust your belt you must do it sloooowwwwly. If you pull it quickly there will be a loud noticeable RRRIIIIIIPP as 10 inches of velcro come apart. 2. If you wear a lot of sweaters, wool, fleece, or anything fuzzy and you have velcro showing the fabric might stick to it. It doesn't seem to stick to cotton shirts, synthetics, or any smooth fabric. I'd never go back to a regular leather belt with holes and a buckle. This is easier to adjust, can be adjusted to any size, and shows no wear whatsoever after years of use. Great customer service. I once received a belt that had bad weave with little loops sticking out. With no trouble they fixed the old one and sent it back to me with a brand new belt thrown in.

Velcro is trash
The velcro is complete trash. It wasn't worth the gas to return so I threw it away. It was just the 2 sides of the hook end of the velco, so the ends didn't even stick together. Just complete junk

No buckle!
My buckle would always get in the way of my working which is annoying. Great alternative and still does the job as if a belt with a buckle was there.

Good belt
Light and easy for clearance use at immigration checkpoint as there are no metal in it. Secure once in place, but micro adjustments will need more effort

Okayish
Wear it skateboarding so I don't have anything solid sticking into me when I inevitably take a hammering. However, the belt is quite stiff compared to a normal belt, removing most of the advantage of not having a buckle. Be better if it was softer.

Simple
I loved using it at work - very easy to use and not too bulky compared to usual belt around.
