Botanical Illustration

I'm a beginner who's looking looking for a book that explains structure, color, blending, shading, basically, anything to do with flowers, plants, etc. For me, this book meets all of my needs. Plenty of illustrations, most in color and very well written. I can't wait to get started.,

I like to sketch but I'm a beginner with botanical illustration. I tried all the major titles but this one has been the best and easiest to understand

I have received a book with missing pages, some duplicated and other pages out of order. Something went very wrong with this book. I have to order a new one. Wish me luck!

This book has been bound and paginated incorrectly! Chapter 3 is as follows page 37, 86, 87, 40, 41, 90, 91. Additionally, text on pages 44 and 94 starts in the middle of a paragraph.

Probably the best serious book on botanical illustration that I've seen, and I have a number of them.

Obviously written by a very experienced artist and an excellent teacher of the subject. The art work is so scientific and specialised, as well as being beautiful to look at, that the book is recommended to watercolourists who love detailed workand the world of plants

This book has been a standard text book for many years. It helps you to improve your nice picture into a piece of botanical art. Very helpful illustrations by a variety of artists provide inspiration. Good value for money.
