Exactly as described; great addition to my setup
I was concerned reading the negative reviews, however it's possible they are describing different versions of the product. I ordered the "Black without Quick Attach" and that's exactly what I got. I put my cam band through the back of the product, which is sewn, and it stays there solidly. I have a 2lb weight in (the hook and loop on this section is very secure) and off I go. I'd suggest checking the XS Scuba website to determine which version you want/need.

Too wide and rigid for two on one band.
Rigid, wide, requires complete removal of the strap to install. I specifically wanted these for the tank band, only when in a drysuit or wetsuit, so if you have another use in mind it might be just fine. Quality, material and price is great. However, the rigid, wide back prevents them from being useful on my Halcyon Eclipse Single Tank setup. I went with a brand that has a narrow, softer, Velcro wrap around the tank band.

Quick and easy
This tank pouch is well worth the price. The velcro attachment makes it easy to attach and remove. The pouch allows you to add up to 5lbs.

Mounts very securly
Well made. Secures well and will hold a 5 pound weight.

They are also great for holding other small objects than weights
I use these all over the place. On my webbing, on my cylinders, etc. They are also great for holding other small objects than weights. Rock solid, I've had these in the tropics, under ice, and everywhere in between.

One star, unless you can modify with commercial sewing machine.
Hook and loops not so great. I have an old xs scuba weight belt with all hook and loop and never a problem. I bought these leary if knock offs and did all I could to make sure they look real. After receiving one that was ify with damaged velcro and another that was not fully sewn, I go two that look real. Second dive lost a 5lb weight because the velcro didn't hold. Cost me more than the weight pouches to replace the weight. So, I used a commercial sewing machine to add 1" webbing and clips over the velcro. Now they are good, I like the small size, but without a commercial sewing machine these do not live up to the quality I got 18 years ago even though they look the same the hook and loop material is ineffective for the job. One star without commercial sewing machine enhancements.

works as advertised
Make a note to take it off before returning your rental BCD.It'll also fit on the belt, it could double as a pocket except the holes in the bottom are too big, small stuff will fall out.

Broke easily ON A DIVE!!!
I came out of a 100 ft deep dive, and by luck, just when I went into the boat, BOTH of them fell into the floor after I took a few steps. I hadn't even took my BCD off yet.Issue:The velcro that attaches to your waist belt (using a Hollis ST22) IS really small. And loses its grip. These are rated for 10 pounds and I only used 4 on each so it's not that. It's a design flaw.I had to sew them using a thick thread so it would hold and then install them.Take in mind if using these for deep dives. If that would have happened when I was at 100 feet and 20 minutes from the shore, I would probably not be here writing this. as I would have go up so quick that I would have suffer decompression sickness.
