I wore these on some of the rocky beaches on the Big Island in Hawaii. The shoes were very comfortable and kept my feet warm in the cooler waters of the Pacific. I used them several times throughout the trip and had no issues with the shoes at all. This however was after I had ordered a second pair two sizes smaller than the original size 8 I ordered. I typically wear a 7 1/2 to an 8 however, when measuring my feet in inches according to the chart I needed a size 8. When the shoes arrived they were far too big but I kept them for my boyfriend who was taking me on the trip. My boyfriend typically wears a size 10 or 11 in men's shoes and the 8s fit him perfectly. They were snug enough to stay on his feet without coming off when flooded with water. I ended up ordering a size 6. Keep in mind these shoes should be snug to your feet almost like a second skin because they WILL expand in water.

These booties turned out to be better them i had hoped for. Getting the right size has been an issue as some other reviewers have stated. I ordered an 11 for my husband (who takes a 10.5 shoe) and the fit was perfect. I then ordered an 8 for me but am suspecting i should have read the sizing chart more carefully to see if that was a men's 8 or women's 8. they were 1.5 inches to big. He used these to get out to a coral reefs where the beach was very rocky and the coral came right up to the waters edge. They worked very well. Tried on some other brands at a dive shop and found other brands couldn't match the comfort of these socks, some brands were well over twice the price as these. not a diver so all i can speak for is snorkeling, but i am going to order the right size for me and my children are also going to use these as well.

I probably bought these for a purpose different than what they were intended.I do a lot of kayaking in muddy rivers, so I bought these to use for when I had to get in the water. I have issues with flip-flops, as you might imagine, and I don't want to get my normal shoes wet.These do give a better grip on the river bottom than any other footwear I have used lately. My only complaint is the grip the mud so thoroughly it's hard to get off the bottoms until completely dry. Also, and this is partially by design, your feet will sweat like crazy after wearing these for a few minutes.They fit well and perform the required task, so I am giving it 4 stars. But if you want to buy these for the same reason I did, I would probably say a 3 star rating would be more accurate.

My usual shoe size is women's size 7. Ordered size 6, as other customers recommended and got very nicely fitting boots. I've been using them for diving and occasionally for walking on lava rocks for more than a year and they show no signs of falling apart, yet. As they were only ~$16 when I got them I didn't expect them to last very long, but I've been more than happy with them and expect them to last quite a while longer.As all dive boots, they take a while to dry completely. Once in a while I fold the top down over the heel (bending the rubber of the heel at 270°), so they dry faster. Even that hasn't harmed them, yet!

Was a little worried about the sizing. I wear a 9.5-10 women's, (usually an 8-8.5 men's) and many other reviewer comments made me doubt what size I really needed. I ordered an 8 and it fits great. Spent a whole weekend in the water and had no problems with them. They weren't tight going on dry, but they didn't loosen up a lot once they got wet either. I could probably have gone down half a size, but I prefer the way this size fits. To address a question I saw asked, I could have worn a neoprene sock. I usually prefer to with dive boots, but I just didn't have them with me this time.

I got these for windsurfing, to replace my aging water shoes. After using these, I am never going back to water shoes. These shoes are so much more comfortable, durable, and warm to wear! I haven't had any issues with friction at high speed, and after 3 months of use in salt water, the shoes aren't showing any sign of damage. Fit was a little too big, wish there was an 8.5.

These were the bomb while snorkeling the Great Barrier Reef! I absolutely loved them and they helped keep my feet warm both on and off the boat. Others were jealous and thought the dive team provided them - NOPE! MINE!! I took neoprene gloves, pants, top and these - they provided sting suits. I was toasty in the cool waters of the reef (it's their winter in the US summer FYI) and I stayed down longer than everyone else Will use in Florida too. I ordered a size smaller than my normal shoe size and they were perfect
