URPOWER 300ml Essential Oil Diffuser: Ultrasonic Aromatherapy Diffuser Quiet Auto Shut-Off, 4 Timer Settings(1H 3H 6H ON) & 7-Color Night Light Humidifier for Yoga Bedroom Living Room Office

I purchased this URPOWER Essential Oil Diffuser along with another of the same brand, but a smaller size and capacity. This diffuser will take up to 300 milliliters of essential oil and water mix. The unit has 4 settings for operation. 60 minutes,180 minutes, 360 minutes and ON. So, you can set the unit to work whichever amount of time best suits your needs, or if you prefer, you can set it to ON and it will run until there is no more solution left, When it will turn off automatically. The unit also uses four bright LED's that give the whole case a soft glow in various colors. There are two separate control buttons. One controls the time and the other controls the light. By default the diffuser will start at 60 minutes and cycle through all the LED colors. I have discovered that some colors seem to work better with different essential oils or moods. When the color cycles around to what you want, push the "Light" button again, and it will remain that color of light. The diffuser is very quiet while it is running. All you hear is a soft hum, and occasionally it will gurgle just a little. (I don't know why) Which essential oils you use and whether you blend them or not is up to you. Each oil generates its own feelings in you according that oils properties. Here are a few things I have discovered that might help you enjoy your diffuser. The oil and water mixture seems to be most effective (and you can smell it better) if the mix is fresh. I have tried making up twice as much as I needed, thinking that I could simply turn it on the next time I wanted to diffuse some oil. This doesn't work very well. The oil I was using was Lavender. It is very strong and easily smelled. When the mixture had sat for a day inside the diffuser it was not as strong smelling and actually smelled a bit acrid. Mix up what you think you will use in one go, you will be pleased with the results. The essential oils, two things, buy pure, medical grade, organic, concentrated oils. Anything that contains chemicals used to extract the plants natural oils; definitely disappointing, as you will smell the chemical and the desired effects of using that oil are diminished. Secondly, be sure to clean the unit between uses with clean water and liquid dish soap. The oil WILL stick to the inside edges and the bottom of the tank. Pretty soon your oils start to mix and again, the experience is less satisfying. I like to dilute DAWN dish soap in a spray bottle, keep it under the sink, spray a few good sprays into the tank, rub around with a cloth or sponge, rinse, drain and dry. Be sure to pay attention to the "Drain Side" with the arrow pointing to the top. Pour the water out of that side! If you pour the water out the other side it may enter the "Air Outlet," go into the motor and that's it, ruins the unit. I learned that the hard way! You can also run clear water through the unit as a way to clean out the area where the water is atomized if you want to. URPOWER recommends that you do this BEFORE the first use anyway. This diffuser comes with a great little plastic mixing cup with markings from 20 ml. to 150 ml. Works great for mixing up the exactamount of oil/water blend that you need. The AC adapter plugs into the bottom of the unit. When you are placing the "cap" over the tank and diffuser, match the URPOWER logo and the times up. Let the "cap" fall naturally to the bottom unit and turn slightly clockwise. When you hear the click, it's firmly in place. If the "cap" isn't on tight the unit won't work, so if the plug and everything seems ok, try re-attaching the "cap." That's it! I have gotten many months now of flawless use from this diffuser. Amazon chose it as "the best" in its own tests. That's why I purchased it. Now after using it I can definitely recommed this diffuser! Thanks for reading my review. Good Luck and have fun!

Interestingly, I ordered this diffuser for my husband's office and at the same time, this pricier one Essential Oil Diffuser for Aromatherapy & Ultrasonic Cool Mist Humidifier - BPA Free Diffuser for Essential Oils - 7 Colors & 4 Timer Settings - Auto Shut-Off - 300ml - The Essential Wellness for my own office. For all intents and purposes further confirmed after more than a week of usage - they are obviously identical machines. The more expensive one had a prettier outside box, has a different logo on it, has arrow to line up for the top and had more detailed directions - but everything about them was identical including the electrical plug and the added 150ml pouring cup. (this URPower one didn't come with the arrows to line up the cover, even though that is what is pictured on this listing). If you are considering purchasing the more expensive one, I hate to say it and "bash" the pricier one but it really is the identical diffuser once you get them out of the box and running. I wouldn't say this over a couple of dollars, but the price difference of about $14 was significant enough to capture at least my attention! I still very much appreciate the pricier one because it gave me all the details I needed and wanted throughout the listing and the delivery of it - it's listing and customer service appear to be more than likely US based. That is why I am giving a 5 star on this one because it gives so much value for the money. And also a 5 star to the other pricier one, because it had more support, more details and more helpful direction that I needed. I'm keeping both of them!! As a first time diffuser user, I am very pleased with the larger size of the reservoir at 300ml , the light options (on/off/low/high/one color/rotating colors), the misting options, the timer, the auto-off and the general look of it. No complaints with either one because they are performing identically and with reference to the pricier one, I really feel like I scored a great value on this URPower one!! P.S. they both emit the identical medium to low level "double beep" when they shut off, whenever shut off occurs either due to the timer ending or the automatic shut off when the water is completely used. This beep while sleeping or quietly enjoying the peace and calm of the diffuser almost sounds like an alarm and really ruins the moment. This seems quite contrary to the intent of the diffuser and essential oils but I don't see an obvious way to turn that off, but if that has to be, I guess I'll have to deal with it.

I purchased this diffuser because I gave my beloved smaller diffuser to my parents. I was attracted to the fact that you could direct the mist from the side vent and the 300ml capacity. Having had this for a week, I have to say I am very satisfied with this product! Pros: 300 ml capacity allows this to run for hours before refilling Side vent allows you to direct mist to certain parts of the room and away from furniture. Extremely convenient! Quiet..small drip sound is actually quite soothing Color changing lights, and ability to pick out certain light colors nice feature. Ability to shut color off if too bright Mist is strong!!!! After using my 100ml diffuser by a different brand, I was pleasantly surprised by this one! Yes, sitting near it....I would say it can act as a humidifier. (I'm a nurse, I should know about humidifiers!) Works well with all my essential oils Cons: Appearance is not as modern....maybe not as elegant as others. But I would say I would pick functionality over appearance. Some of the more sleeker models I researched seemed to have some design issues. I did not have the same problems of getting the top off as other reviewers. After getting used to it, it is really quite an easy twist off. In all, I would say this seems to be a very sturdy, extremely functional diffuser. And having 3 small kids around, they haven't tipped it over once....pleasantly surprised! So impressed...I am going to purchase the 500ml version for a bigger room.

excellent diffuser. works great

It's a awesome diffuser, thick stream of mist and it shoots the mist higher than my brand name one. Love the colours on it. I bought this in 2017, it is now 2023 and this diffuser is going stronger than ever… I’ve used it so much the letters and words are worn off of it. Every other brand name diffuser has cratered. This one lasts the whole night and never has to be tempermantly cleaned like the others. Don’t waste your money on other types… this is the ultimate!! The only down side.. when I bought it in 2017, it was probably $40, now it’s a lot more.. but so worth the money. So little maintenance, and lasts for so long, and the performance has never changed in the 6 years, running every night, all through the night.

Feels cheep. Flimsy construction and very noisy during operation. Very disappointed.

No issues with this unit at all! Easy to fill and easy to use. The lid isn’t as bad as others are reporting, it can be removed and put back on easily without having to pick the whole thing up. Love the different time settings and it puts out a lot of vapor.
