Hand Painted Resin with Glass Board Review: Marvelous chess set. - My 7 year old REALLY wanted a dragon chess set for her birthday after seeing one in a coffee shop, and she has been SO delighted with this one. Some pieces have gotten chipped since they're a bit delicate and are owned by a 7 year old, but it's been a wonderful introduction to the game for her and a lovely set. The pieces are all so detailed! We added some little felt pieces under the board so it would be more practical in our kids household. I thought the price was just right for the nice quality of the board and the pieces. Review: Cool but overpriced - They look awesome and I look forward to painting them. They’re ridiculously over priced for what they are. Just found out they’re pretty fragile, the dragon wings break off. 🙁

Cool but overpriced
They look awesome and I look forward to painting them. They’re ridiculously over priced for what they are. Just found out they’re pretty fragile, the dragon wings break off. 🙁

Beautiful Chess Set
I bought this as a gift for my father because he loves medieval things. The chess set came within two days and was beautifully crafted. We played for hours and that is a memory I will never forget. Thank you.

Looked all over for a dragon chess set I love this one. Simple and satisfying.

Beautiful set - very fragile
Hubby loved his Valentine's Day gift... the first set arrived damaged (packaging could be a little more impact resistant) but Amazon Prime replaced it very quickly, easily and hassle-free! (Amazon Prime membership, even at the higher renewal rate, is well worth the cost!) I would have given 5 stars if the set came with something in which to store the fragile resin pieces (the styrofoam in which they come packed crumbled as each piece was initially removed) and if the contrast between the two colors of the pieces were higher. In lower light, it is VERY difficult to discern your pieces from your opponent!

Not worth the money
Very poorly made for the price this is something that should have cost $20 at the most. I was not happy when I seen the pieces were made of plastic.

Looks better in the picture
While the pieces are pretty cool, the packaging is lame and makes for poor storage. It comes in a gray box with everything packed in styrofoam, which part of that broke when I tried to repack the board.
