Q: up to what size pipe will this machine groove

It can groove from 1.25" to 6" pipe sch 40 it takes a little bit of time to groove 6" 40 but can get the job done

Q: Does it come with adapters to do copper?

No, it does not. You can add Ridgid #38233 2"-8" Roll Set Kit for Copper Tube to this. If your looking for one for copper you want Ridgid #32828. Thanks, BW

Q: would this work with a rothenberger supertronic 4s?

Not sure, i used it on a 535 which it doesnt line up quite right for. So we made new support pipes for it so that it would line up correctly with the chuck. It worked well, generates a lot of heat. we grooved a complete air system using this and it still is in good shape .
