How many inches tall is each cup and how many inches tall is the carafe?

The carafe is is 5 inches tall and the cups are an inch and a half tall. Please be advised that the carafe is not 8oz as what was advertised when I purchased it. It is 6oz, but still nice.

Safe in microwave & dishwasher??

Yes, it's safe for hot liquids as it's ceramic. But it is a little fragile. One of the 4 cups was cracked and broke shortly after I received it.
