This little things are amazing
I put them in the microwave for about 7 secs. Cool to watch them puff up. I use them in soups and salads. Not flavor but adds crunch to whatever you're eating.

its useless. Deep fry is the best
Do not microwave them, its useless. Deep fry is the best, for best results, deep fry then store in zip lock bag for a few days.....perfect! Anyhow, it's very hard to find fresh golgappe, but these are the best, always fresh and whenever you want them.

Bag was open upon receiving
Bag was open and when I removed from box a few fell out. Not even eligible for return.

Upon arrival almost half of the pieces were broken.

Great!
These are great. There will be some broken ones which are useless. You need to fry them at just the right temperature otherwise they won't inflate. I usually have to test it out with a couple and put my stove at half heat. Make sure to push them into the oil after they inflate so they won't deflate when you take them out! If I had an indian store nearby I'd probably be able to get these for less than $10.

It shrinks after fry
Its crispy but after frying, air comes out from panipuri (golgappa) and its shrinks. Few of then remain puffy but most of them shrinks. Taste is good.
