LASCO 37-2201 PCM Inline Ice Maker Filter Mounting Bracket for 2-Inch Diameter Filters, White

I bought a filter from a hardware store. But they had nothing there for mounting it. I was able to find a mounting bracket on Amazon. My one concern was I Bought the filter from one place and the amounting bracket from another, Would be the correct size. But it worked quite well. I Mounted my water filter in the basement and ran the waterline up to my refrigerator through the floor, as I could see by the pictures. Was going to mount it higher up in the Joist but I want to make it easier to reach.

I bought two thinking two would be needed to hold filter parallel. Only needed one so I have a spare just in case. Works and hold the filter in place. Just be sure your filter is the correct diameter for it.

I bought just the mounting bracket, and it came with a single, short screw. The screw was too short to reach the stud through the drywall, so I replaced it with a 1.25" wood screw. The bracket felt secure after that. Perfectly holds the 2" diameter filter I bought for my ice maker.

Made the job of installing an external water filter easy. Filter slips right in and holds it snug. A bit pricey for a plastic ring but it was perfect for the job.

Holds in-line filter, but a little loose. I had to use a zip tide to hold filter to it, so it will not pop out if fridge moved.

This clip holds the water filter firmly in place.

The water filter mount bends 1/8" backwards from the screw. The mount damages drywall and pulls out screw, this action loosens the mount which then falls from wall. Rufus says it technically mounts, then damages wall. Amazon insists on return of this offensive product so I am eating the cost. Amazon would pay for return of this mount and refund the money which allows a supplier to damage customers. Such action is inexcusable.

Worked great but beware it doesn't come with a filter and in my view very expensive for a plastic clip and screw
