9636 8-Inch Semi-Pneumatic Rubber Tire, Steel Hub with Ball Bearings, Ribbed Tread, 1/2-Inch Bore Centered Axle

Bought these (2) to replace wheels on an old sears hand truck purchased probably in the 80s. They are the perfect size and seem to be made much better than the originals (plastic hubs basically dried out and cracked/chipped/broke). These wheels have metal hub and bearings (original no bearings - just plastic). I have an affordable upgrade and saved $$$ on buying a replacement which probably would not have the same quality/durability for the frame at the price. Thank you.

My hand truck from Sears is over 50 years old and one of the plastic hub wheels broke. Measured the old wheels and these steel hub wheels were close enough in size to function. I had to add a few thrust washers to reduce side play and I center punched the hand truck shafts to provide an interference fit to the hub bearing. These wheels work well and will give my hand truck several more years of useful life.

This is one wheel per order. I screwed up and ordered just one for a dolly i was rebuilding. The wheel is decent quality. It fits the 1/2" axel fine. It looks nice as well.

I have a sliding gate that is 16' long. I set it up initially with a plastic wheel to allow it to roll across the driveway easily to help keep pickleballs from rolling into the street. Worked fine.But then I saw this wheel in the "others have viewed these products" section on Amazon.I fell in love. The red enamel is smooth and beautiful. The bearings are quiet and tight, rolling freely. The sense of quality construction permeates from the moment I opened the package and carries on today.I didn't NEED it. It wasn't critical in making my gate work. But it made it all so much better to look at. I smile when I slide that gate. What is quality like that worth? Buy this wheel and you will know what I'm talking about. Yes it sounds ridiculous, like describing to a 24 yo party girl how wonderful it is to have a child. But when you know....

Perfect fit for my power washer replacement wheels

Product was okay, but I returned them as the saw toothed version was better suited for my application. Returned all 4 in the same package as they were shipped and are currently trying to deal with getting properly refunded, as they are saying that I only returned 1. They've recently recharged me for 3 of the 4 wheels, then reimbursed me for 2 of the 3. Probably going to have to make another call to customer service!Update: Still waiting for full return, second call made to customer service. As of 7-9-25. Come on Amazon, pull it together.
